Genuinely one of the sickest things i've seen done with "ascii" art, great work

One phrase, “Absolute mayhem”. Fun game, very original art style, good sound. My only concern was that I could not understand some time if I play the game or game play the “me”, messy chaos. In addition, player acceleration and deceleration was too high and made navigati0n a little harder. Overall, very original and well put game, impressive work.

The art style is unique and very pleasing, the gameplay is really fun, and what a creative way to fit the theme ! This is genuinely one of the most innovative games I've seen so far, and definitively one of my favorites.

"Oh god damn what a typewriter" Was the impression of my first playthrough of this game, and it was fun

The graphics and music were fantastic, and it really takes on the theme in an interesting way.

Great job!

The game is really really fun! Many different upgrades, items and enemy really make this game more playable !And the pixel art style is very pretty! It's a little bit harder than i thought it would be.But still a very enjoyable game.Love it!

Fun and frantic game. It got repetitive after a little, but it was enjoyable trying to get as far as possible.

The concept and premise of the game is absolutely excellent and it is surprising how well you were able to execute and build on the idea, given the damage model of enemies. The Graphics and audio aren't anything to rave about which is understandable given that its letters, the way you present them however, via Title and Game Over Screen for example, makes them great.

Sadly, it was a little laggy on my machine which should be able to handle the game with no problems; it didn't deduct a whole lot from the experience.

Very solid Entry, curious about your future entries and ideas!

What a fantastically random shoot em up idea & so well executed. This is one of my faves. :)

Amazing! I love the concept and I love the execution (graphics, animation, controls, etc.). It felt like it started getting laggy over time; at least, the audio started glitching. Is it possible that there are resources that you're building up over time without freeing? Other than that, the only critique I have is difficulty: it felt like it just stayed constant over time, so I was able to just survive indefinitely. It would be neat if the speed or number of enemies or something gradually increased over time.

From the screenshots, I thought 'This can't possibly work', but it does and it's awesome. I made a similar mechanic for Ludum Dare 14 (advancing wall of doom). Your game is definitely more fun.

I played it for a bit. Initially I thought it was quite a novel idea and well executed, what with all of the effects, screenshake, characters being fired at you and so on, but I was a little disappointed to find that there was no difficult curve, as far as I could tell. Nothing was managing to kill me and enemies were not becoming tougher.

Also, I don't think you hit the theme. I don't see how I would be running out of space. I always had somewhere to go.

Wooo, what a symbols mess! Very dynamic thing.
I think better auto-scroll page up with every new line, to player hurry move down.

What a delight! Excellent concept, great execution, fun insertion of the two extra mechanics in later puzzles (crosswords and then dead end.)

Was feeling in a bit of a creative slump and this inspired me.
