In a frail escape pod, manage your energy very wisely between modules as you head from power beacon to power beacon on your way to rescue, avoiding enemy drones and asteroid fields.

NOTE: PRESSING START ON THE CONTROLLER RESTARTS THE GAME

Yep. Gamepad helped :p
Loved the interface and gameplay was quite nice. The enemy ships mechanics were dope.

Shame it doesn't have a Linux build. Wine doesn't see my 360 controller.

This seems really, really cool and like something that's right up my alley, but it's a bit too hard. Even after a bunch of restarts, I was only able to get past the first big group of enemies once. Toning them down in number or increasing the time it takes for them to charge just a bit would be good. I think starting off with no systems enabled and having to go through and repair them two or three at a time is a great way to introduce the player to the mechanics. An option to skip it would be nice, though.
Between restarting after dying and restarting because I accidentally pressed the start button instead of Y, I probably went through that section about a dozen times. Followed you on Itch because I'm interested at what you might put out in the future.

Wow this is one of my favourites so far! I love the pixel art. The control scheme is very unique and interesting. The game was a bit too hard for a beginner though.

You really feel the theme come through in this one, man, those asteroids are jerks! Love this. Really cool concept, and beautifully executed. Having to adapt to surviving without certain equipment that gets damaged is really interesting. I agree that it's super hard though!

Cool innovative approach on the physics based shooter however it has a bit of issues

**Positive stuff :**
- The graphics are really beautiful
- The soundtrack was good and really fitted the spacey mood
- The ship's controls that are very original

**Negative stuff :**
- The repair interface, while i really like the idea, i felt it was quite a handful to manage all this when surrounded by ennemies
- The difficulty is a bit too high, this mostly ties with what i said previously :/

Quite frankly this is a very solid entry otherwise, especially for something done solo, it's a nice take on the theme, and the ships controls really felt tight

good job :)

I love the amount of control you have over the ship. Having to manually repair everything using the repair interface is less stellar.

I'd rather press the button of the system in question to repair it. For instance pressing shift should repair shields, if shields are down. This way the repair interface is only for checking the current condition of the ship, not required for repairs themselves.

There are so many enemies after a while that even a single hit taking out shields or one of the thrusters can seal your doom. I got through three big groups of enemies, but the forth group (dozens of fighters again) got me.

I think a hit from a lazor or asteroid should not wreck a module completely, 40-60% damage per hit would be more tolerable. Some checkpoint at the energy beacons would be ace too.

Small itty bitty graphical glitch: I ran out of energy in the very beginning, but luckily collected the energy beacon after that. Everything worked fine, but the lights of the cockpit didn't turn on again.

Great work!

Loved this one. The graphics were great. Music and sound effects did their jobs well. I agree with @HuvaaKoodia that getting hit once should not totally wreck an entire system, and should just take a certain amount off the module. You would still have to repair it to use it, but because it wouldn't eat up all of your resources you would have a bit more of a chance to come back from the large waves of enemies. Overall this is a pretty amazing game.

Great game! Took me a while to figure out what I was doing, but I'm amazed by the polish.

Interesting concept. Great graphics. Relaxing music. Absurd difficulty. I'm probably just really bad at this game, but I did not have much fun playing this. I had way too much difficulty even getting to the beacon. The ship is just way too difficult to control.
