Dumpin' Stars by AntonioNP

Well, this is our game and our first nonlocal Gamejam. Dumpin' Stars is a game about dragging trash into the pressing machine to keep your dump clean to not to run out of space. To not to colapse your dump, you will send your trash to your competitor.

Inputs are WASD to the player on the left and the arrows to the player on the right. They must draw all the trash they can to the pressing machine in order to avoid the trash bar from filling up, because that means that you lose.

You will have some spicy combos according to what kind of trash you smash.
(Web version has some bugs, so we have uploaded a PC version with all the features while we fix it.) RE: BUG FIXED.Advice for Unity developers: Mesh colliders don't work well in WebGL, try to avoid them. ;)

The only issue I had was the maneuverability, turning is really difficult.
The graphics are looking good too!
The thing we liked the most was the art, thematic game and concept!
I tried to play by myself, but was not successful :( brain splitting for sure. I think single player is kind of a must for the jam, the 2 players is certainly a cool factor too. Then I got my wife over to play with me and things got better, I like the goal behind it, it felt good for a bit.
The thing that disengaged us was the physics, I think it was great for the trash but not for the whole truck, once things got busy I was constantly waiting for the truck to be respawned into place just to spawned into a flipped position. Maybe locking axis on position/rotation, locking Y pos and and X/Z rotation would be interesting. There where some issues with acceleration, once it gets up to speed and collides, it does some weird things, sling shot kind of.
There is a glitch on music when spawning new object that also didn't sit well with the experience.
I feel I didn't say many positives things here, I completely relate to the difficulty of the timeline and I'm sure that given a couple more days my review would be different. Cheers! :)
