I really like the calm, happy music juxtaposed with the unrelenting rain of alien bullets. That said, I had some difficulty getting the defense mechanic to work, or to be effective? If the point is that it's hopeless, that's fine, but I think you might need a "Lose" state - I tended to just keep trying to build while feeling frustrated.

At first the goal wasn't clear for me, but i don't read the instructions, i tried to build defense on the planet. The gameplay was fun. I managed to escape in 190s.

Took me some time to figure out that the defenses weren't automatic and I had to both build everything and manually defend it, but after figuring that out I was able to beat the game.
Other than that it was pretty self explanatory.

The HTML5 build don't run really playable on my laptop and the code repository is not public (gives me a 404) so I can't build it for native to help performance. I like the graphics and the music but I don't understand the gameplay. Some ingame tutorial would probably help.

I really like the concept of this game, it's simple and fun. I also think it would be much better with a lot of feedback there, when you hit something or when you get hit, so you can decide which enemy to shoot or which building to protect. Very nice game!

Sorry for sources, I'll figure out to solve the problem with Gitlab, but for the moment, I uploaded an archive.
Thanks for your feedbacks.

Oh nice and simple! I managed to escape in 260 seconds. I think the interface could be improved, but you did a very good job. Keep rocking!

Cool game with a nice take on the theme. It took me a while to figure out what I was doing, as others have said the interface could be improved and maybe a tutorial. The gameplay was simple but fun, with some nice graphics. Overall well done!

It was a little difficult to control both construction and defense. But there is a certain charm and depth in this. So when you understand how to play, it becomes very fun! For a compo it's a really great project with interesting concept!

P.S. Music is very cute!

Loved the music. Found the controls a bit wonky, having to click on defense every time I wanted to put down a turret got annoying haha. It was fun to start shooting at so many targets immediately too, I was never sitting there waiting with nothing to do which was great.

Interesting idea of a simple game.
I think some hotkeys for building or settings defence could help, as what I did - is constantly clicking something in the interface - then on the planet.
Or maybe not cancelling the item after building in order to build several of smth(like shift in strategies).
