In that type of game, we usually expect objects to come from the top and us controlling a character at the bottom of the screen. Here, constantly seeing what's going to eat you is quite interesting. I had this great "OH GAWD" moment in the first two seconds while my brain realized what was going on.\r\rThe compo version was like "oh ha that was cute, interesting, and short."\r\rThe post-compo version was like, "OH NO GET OUT OF MY WAY, PRESENTS!" I swear I had a defective jack in the box that wasn't moving any faster than the monster at all and my fate was sealed from the start although I didn't know it.\r\rReally nice look boosted up an interesting inversion of a genre, and the it didn't overstay its welcome, it quit while I was still having fun.\r\rNice work. It's also more challenging because the monster speeds up periodically. \r\n\r\nI did all the art and programming myself, using Unity, Photoshop, and Cinema 4D. All models, art, textures, and scripts for the compo\/jam version were created during the 48 hour period.
