Once thing is truly missing in this game, is the ability to fire the workforce to make more profit ;)

I thank I was really doing good business : citizen and congress happy, profit was increasing but the oil price went down and I bankrupted. I was soo sad.

Cool game. Really interesting to see something made with html and js. I was doing well for a while until oil prices starting dropping like a rock even though the citizen relations were at 100 and not dropping. Also the congress relations were at 104. I tried building a bunch of schools but that didn't do anything. I started at $40 per barrel and it dropped to $5 per barrel, which ended up bankrupting me. I'm not really sure what I did wrong. Overall pretty well done though.

I did well until the oil prices dropped. Maybe firing the workforce could be implemented. Nice game.

Love a Tycoon game, I hope to see you expand the game. Would be nice to get a sense where the oil market is going. I keep getting into a situation where I couldn't lower expenses as the price of oil tanked.

Nice game. It's an interesting idea, and it was fun to play. The only thing is that some of the spelling/grammar in the instructions wasn't quite right. Not a big deal, and easily fixed by getting someone to read over it next time. Overall cool game :)

Really nice game! But the oil prices drops regardless of 100+ relation with citizens and congress relation :(

I didn't understand how to know the number of workforce needed to buy a building. And so, I can't fully play to this game. But for what I saw, it's playable, even if I can't know if it's fun. :P

Really cool game. I just played a round and I'll go for my second round after writing this.
There's two things I didn't really get initially:
- How much workforce do I need to build a building
- Even if my citizen relation is high the oil prices are low (I presume because it takes a while for the prices to adjust)

I suggest maybe adding the workforce information in the instructions (if it's a constant) or as a tooltip or something like that if it depends on the building.

Maybe making the oil prices follow the citizen relations more directly would resut in less confusion (Or maybe I'm not getting another aspect of the game and I'm completely off here)

Loved it :) I played it for about an hour which is the longest time I spent on a game this Ludum Dare. Very innovative idea. I think some tweaking is required though cause some stuff was not right. For example, I did very well and suddenly the oil price started dropping until it reached 5$. Why is that? I hade a lot of schools and couple of villas. Also, the value of the relation of the politics seems to go only up. The relations of the citizens is 100 and the politics are 102 and the price of the oil is 5$. Why is that?

Regardless of these points which I'm sure you can easily fix, I enjoyed playing your game tremendously.
Congratulations :)

Hey everyone ! Thank you very much for your feedbacks !
As I see, you all had problems with the oil price, to be honest, I didn't spend enough time to equilibrate it correctly. At first, it was too easy (the price was staying very high and it was useless to store oil), but after some tweaking, it was too hard.

I started to work on a new game, based on the same concept but with some enhancement like a map to place buildings. I'll try to have a better oil price ;-).

This is a nice game, looks good, it was fun to play. My only complaint is at the top then the number of oil barrels is how much you'll have at the end of the turn instead of how much you have right now like with the money and workforce.
