There's a nice sense of progression for this game, I loved watching the cactus grow. The graphics got the job done, though the interface was pretty crowded. It would have been nice if the game paused while the upgrade menu was open, as well as the game communicating that you can only buy each upgrade once. I was having a great time, then I died without explanation? So that was the end of it. Oh well. Great job!

Simple and clever design, its absolutely fatal flaw is that it's tedious, VERY tedious. There is little reward for whatever progress you make- in fact it almost discourages you after each time you grow because it is so minimal after minutes of work to get there. The "upgrades" are confusing too.

The concept is still pretty clever and funny, and it is fun for a few minutes but I'm going to hear that looping 5 second track in my nightmares for the rest of my life.

The game has a simple charm with easy to learn gameplay and a good use of the growing theme. I think this could be better with a cleaner UI and a bit faster gameplay.

Concept sounds like fun, but no Linux or web build :(

I have a question, not that it should change your vote but, did any of you finish the game or did I make it to long?

Didn't like the installer, but I liked the game concept. It was a little on the slow side especially early on when the growth isn't so obvious and you could add some variety to mix the game play up a little.

I reach the lvl 10 but it's too long, the gameplay do'nt change/evolve, and the audio was so boring.

But else the concept is good, i suppsoe if you will add some feature like more upgrade for coulds and for the cactus for make your game more fun, it can be very intersting. So continue the development ! ;)

So first off - that much water is going to kill any cactus out there ( 0/10 realism :) ).

The concept for this game isn't very new and the execution doesn't really come off as polished. The audio is pretty grating and the graphics, whilst clean, are fairly basic. I also had trouble using the exchange button, no mater how many coins I had it never seemed to work.

It is a complete game though and not everyone gets that far though!

Very slow. Very tedious. So slow ;~; Like super slow ;~; And installers are evil man!

UI was very cluttered and inconsistent. Unfortunately it was hard for me to get past the irregular looping audio.

The idea is there, theme usage is 100%, but it could be developed better. Three quick notes: 1) audio is not looping, I expected to loop, but there's a pause between end and restart 2) the installer, why? 3) I shouldn't be able to, but if I move out of screen I can't come back O.o

Given the slow growth, I could not finish the game. I felt the controls were slow and unreactive. The "How To Play" is terribly cluttered and uninformative on how to play the game (A and D, by the way). Upgrades and exchange screen could have been better implemented by providing a pop-up like focus rather than being part of the game. It was easy to get the last upgrade, however, making the coins and exchange functionality unneeded pretty quickly.
