Game worked for me. Was a cool concept. A bit frustrating that in my second playthrough I had a fireball blocking the path to the exit that appeared very quickly.

Hey, the game worked here, i liked the idea of the maze and all (i like maze games very much), just sometimes it seemed like i couldn't go through the corridor even though the red part was on the other side. But it is a good idea, it has potential to be a very good one ;)

Nice work. Some corners were a bit tough to navigate, and the fire sometimes blocked the exit pretty early, but I managed to sneak through a couple times for 19 points. Good job!

I had fun with it. Only issues are that the fireballs sometimes clip thorugh the walls so they appear to be completety on the other side but they still send you back. And the images still have a bit of the background on them (white border on coins). Nice job for your first Ludum Dare.

Really cool simple game. Surprisingly I was able to get out of the maze easily.

Music would have been nice, also a way to exit the game is always good in Unity games.

Overall, really good job!

Nice job! That being said, is there a reason to not just press the re-try button after death?

Awesome work finishing LDjam! A nice little maze game. I had similar issues with the fire. But, apart from that a really solid experience. Keep it up! Look forward to seeing more from you in the future!

I think it would gain a lot if spawn of fire was not totally random. My first playthrough finished very quickly when i was blocked near start zone, which give me some ideas:
You can add some predefined positions, where to put fire, and then just select from them. In this way you will not have it spawned inside walls, you can setup positions to spawn in doorways. Even more you can add some basic weight system: to decide which position will be on fire next. In this way you will not put player in position where he could not find exit. You could use even navMesh from Unity, to find way from player position to next coin, and if it's not possible - spawn another point. Just do this check every time you spawn fire - and player will never be blocked! (or will be, but only when you want him to be :smirk: )

neat game, the movement feels ok, but because theres weird collision/rigid body elasticity feeling when bump into wall make the control feels clunky, i like the overall premise maze with randomize obstacle tho, well done !

It was very short :( Nice twist on the old labyrinth theme.

Innovative concept with neat execution. Getting through the maze under the time pressure is pretty fun, mechanics feel pretty responsive. One suggestion i can give is to no spawn fire at random positions but at predefined positions, sometimes they spawn in the middle of the wall making progression impossible. Still it is a neat, short game. And congratulations on your first Ludum Dare!

Great job on the game I like how you took a new turn with the theme and created a maze I did not yet see many people do that. I just wished there was music in the game or at least some sound effects, if those were in the game the mood of the game would have improved greatly. The controls and mechanics of the game work flawlessly. I do not know why but the simple art style of the game grew on me.Anyway good job with game I had real fun playing it and best of luck.
