A fun game. It's will be very funny, if I can play with others. But I can only defeat myself. I think it need more Sacrifices. Good job.

Played with my SO, we had fun. I'm really not feeling the theme, but the game has incredible polish for 48 hours. Well done.

@sarwin @timeshapers every time you explodes a Mr. Bomb, you have sacrificed him to be able to push the ball.

I really like the unique take on the classic game and next to that it's so much fun! I only wish there would be an AI player to play with ;)

I Pretty love this game !
First, gg to use Unreal Engine, its pretty rare !:D The graphics and lightning are really well made, so its beautiful to watch as a starting point.
The Gameplay is pretty simple, shooting the ball and scoring with it, nothing much, so its really easy to understand. As soon as we start playing it, we have a much fun ! :D

Most of it, the sound ambiance is pretty funny <<Boom baaaang>> , and the music give to the game a good mood.

Fun for local multiplayer. Don't think the theme is that great. I get what you wanted to do here but overall fun game and local multiplayer is always a +1 :)

This is one of these games I would have played for hours with my brother back when we lived with our parents. Great entry! I delete most of the ldjam games after a few weeks but this one is a keeper! :thumbsup:

Pretty cool game, very different. I do wish you'd make your projects a little smaller, 113mb is very big for a jam game!

Good game and I like the audio in it, especially the narrator, and I feel it is very fun and replayable. I do think however the tie into the theme is fairly weak, but the game makes up for this. Great job and good luck!

Nice spin on an old genre. I found the two functions on one button (shoot and explode) a little frustrating, especially when I was trying to react quickly to something. Also not feeling the theme but the mood and whackabout style was fun.

I really like the concept of this game, having some sort of 'airhockey' style gameplay with exploding projectiles really adds another dimension to the genre. I unfortunately had to play alone, but I did get the chance to try the mechanics. I felt that it was pretty hard to accurately aim your canon. More slow movement would have solved this (maybe even fast movement whilst holding shift), and something like an aim-line? I liked the graphics, it looks pretty realistic and nice. One last thing, when you shoot at a distance, bombs tend to skip over the ball, which is pretty annoying, hehe. Maybe make it so they can't make any horizontal movements, or whatever. Anyway, good job on making a game this jam :)

@virtual-turtle-studio thank you for a detailed feedback. In my play testing, I found that a more slow rotation not was a good idea, because you then can't respond fast enough to fast moving balls. And I found that exact precision is not super important, because it is mostly the explosions that pushes the ball.

I have also tried making the bombs collision into a sphere, and this made them fly much more precis and they did not jump over the ball. But for some reason it made the game less fun to play.

Very well polished for 48 hours. Music was nice to listen to and the sound effects were funny.

Great game! The mechanic is original and simple to control at the same time! Very challenging playing with other player! It's so funny! Maybe at draw situation you can do a "sudden death" xD. Also, the sounds explosions I think need more volume. Overall is an amazing game! Congrats!

A local multiplayer game?!?!?!!? NIOCE~! .. After badgering my house mate to play with me, we had a good 5 minutes or so playing, simple and Fun game. Not sure it fits the theme though

I am not sure that it is truly connected with the theme but it was very fun to play.
Even better it was a local multiplayer game. That's really cool.
After playing it for a while i wanted to turn off the music but overall it was so fun playing together with my children that music is something you can cope with.
All in all a great entry!

@jevgeni-orehhov Thank you for the feedback. I know the use of the theme perhaps is not the best, but the idea is that the cannons sacrifices there friends "Mr. bomb"s. And I agree with you, that the music could have been better, especially if you play the game for more then a few minutes.

The theme wasn't your strong point, sure, but the game is fun and that's all that matters to me :D

Couldn't find how it incorporated the theme, but what I'll tell you is that its a really cool concept with excellent audio design. I imagine it would need a bit more lighting and more responsive controls. But other than that, great job!

Nice and simple game. The theme was maybe not as present as it could have been but still a nice game concept.

Accessible, efficient, playable with another person, polished, fun, good rereading of pong (or windjammers perhaps): that's what I were thinking when I played your game.

Really fun local multiplayer game. Clever twist on a classic really well executed.

Not sure about the sacrifices though. Do the bombs have a sad back story that means we feel bad for exploding them?

Cool game overall, I had fun playing but was unable to play with another person. I'll comeback to give a rating when I'm able to play with someone else.

Sound effects were funny and I see the connection to the theme but it could have been used in otherways where a sacrifice has a negative impact.

it's look great but i don't have anyone who want play with me. i think that then might be more fun than when i play alone :( nevermind, good job :)
