~~Music - SwingJeDing - RoccoW - http://freemusicarchive.org/music/RoccoW/1035/RoccoW-_-04_SwingJeDing~~

(As pointed out below I probably shouldn't have included any 3rd party music so the build no longer has this in!)

Slight confession: The car controller script is the example one from the Unity Standard Assets pack, which I had every intention of replacing with something of my own making! But alas the perils of jam time management got the better of me. I hope you can forgive me!

Cool entry! The car sometimes felt a little more drifty then I wanted to - probably a little fast for the street width. Overall really great job! I like the graphics and the main game mechanic.

OMG I love it! Music is on point and the game play was great and frantic. Loved it!

Probably my favorite entry so far! The car is super hard to control, but that just makes it more fun to play :).

Good job!

I don't think you're allowed to use third party music for the compo... (but I may be wrong)

Other than that, neat game ! The physics are very funny, and even the car control is hilarious.

@whismirk Yeah I realise all compo stuff needs to be made by me in the weekend. But that's why I listed it as not being mine and excused myself from the audio voting. Added it in at the last minute as I figured it would be nicer than just an annoying exhaust noise for 3 mins XD

But you're right, I've gone and had a better look at the rules and it was probably a bit cheeky so I'm just putting up a build now without the music :)

Glad you enjoyed it anyway!

@jackou @fryderider Yep would really have loved to have made the car controls just a bit more tight and arcady (though not too much as I feel the akwardness is half the fun!), but alas it's just another thing on the big list of stuff that didn't get done before the end as usual. Glad you both enjoyed!

Very very nice. Car controls were a little difficult. But the overall gameplay and idea was solid

The car is too hard to control, which is mainly because the camera is static while the control is map on the car, so player needs to constantly readjusting to the new angle of the control. It could be fun for a rage game, but I see that you are combining this with a puzzle, and the rage-like racing element dominates the puzzle. First, it makes your game less fit with the theme, or like its an after thought. Second, when you work on the puzzle, you actually lose time, which is said to be the ultimate goal. This might make the puzzle even less important. Maybe if you can load cargos on the truck without overlapping, you get extra time, that should be more than the time lost on arranging the items. Sorry I got carried away with the technical stuffs. Anyway, fun game, I got a bit frustrated but I guess thats the point right haha
Nice graphics btw!

@nam-nguyen Thanks for all the thoughtful feedback. Yep as *everyone* has said, the car controls definitely needed improvement and it was on the big list of things to get done hehe.

Time going down while arranging items was a design decision as it's supposed to add to the frantic nature, and mean you're less likely to perfectly arrange things. It's a nice idea to give extra time for perfect arrangement though. Maybe I could give bonus time/points for creating certain shapes in your truck...

Anyway thanks for playing!

The best game out of the ~10 I've rated so far. Driving is always fun, and major innovation points for being able to rearrange the insides of the car. That's actually a big part of deliveries and I doubt any game has taken it into account yet.

As already said the car is difficult to drive, but I saw it more as part of the game and thought the physics are funny. Overall cool entry, I like your idea.

As cool! An opportunity to break down lampposts - is fine. This is one of the best Compo games of this LD for me.

Like the lamppost tipping over and the overall look of it, but it is quite hard to steer and pressing E did not work very well. Couldn't deliver more than 1 package because of this.

This game has potential: the core gameplay is good and the graphics and sound are too. I also loved how the lampposts and traffic lights would fall over when you hit them. However, the controls are frustratingly difficult.

Good game!

Have good fun time, only the control are too clumsy. If have more things to hit and see flying like a disastrous driver maybe I see more fun than frustratrion on drive the truckm but still need a little ajustament.

Beside that, no more complain or sugestion. Good Work!.

I liked the concept of this game, not so much the controls. A shame you didn't get around to making your own car controller script.

Otherwise, the aesthetics are simple, but effective. While the sound effects work, it sounds like I'm driving a derby car.
