Double Trouble by MaxKlimenok
You're working as a cook in a prestigious restaurant, owned by Chief Krugger. Unfortunately you're a scatterbrain that can't remember any recipe....
Message your family, friends and more unexpected characters to obtain the recipes. Collect the ingredients needed for them, while avoiding tableware that you pissed chief throws at you...
We hope you'll have as much fun playing all 3 levels of this culinar-avoider with anti sim date elements, as we had while creating it.
P.S. All assets in the game have been created during LD except music and SFX which are from "free licence" sources. Credit for sountrack goes to Bensound (https://www.bensound.com/).

And thank you for your review! We are glad that you had fun!
What I loved
* The overal feel, trying to read the phone while dodging and collecting ingredients
* Felt great
* Interesting combo of genres
* the sound effects were funny :smile:
My Thoughts
* Hitboxes were a bit off from time to time I felt like
* I felt the objects came at you a little to fast. Maybe zoom out a little bit?
* Challenging but fun!
I’d love for you to review my submission as well.

I think the game was good over all but it needs to be rebalanced. Or perhaps you could let the player move around and pick up fallen stuff? Although that may be too many things for the player to do simultaneously.
"too many things for the player to do simultaneously" - that is the main point of the game. 👨🍳
If you give it a second try you will note that while you are texting, the stuff is flying pretty slowly and the game is balanced in a way that by the time you'll get the recipe, you should have all required ingredients on hand. Then, when you get the recipe, speed increases significantly, and the reasons are as follows:
- you do not need to split your attention on messaging anymore,
- you need to get absent ingredients fast if any,
- Chief Krugger gets really mad at you 😉.
Probably, based on your comment, we should make the following adjustment: after getting the recipe only required ingredients mixed with tableware should be thrown at the player to reduce frustrating waiting time.
Was pretty clear from the beginning what I had to do, tho at first I thought I could bounce back the knives back to where they came from and maybe earn score like that as well but them staying on the floor I feel like they gave an extra layer of difficulty as started to pile up :D
Nice (y)

If we decide to continue with the game after LD, we will definitely implement this one!
This is surely one of the best games I played this jam and I'd store it in my honourable games folder if you had a windows version xd.
I just made up Win32 build (find the link in the description). We honor fair play, so this is LD Jam version as it was at the moment of the initial submission without any consequent updates/improvements/bug fixes. It should not differ from WebGL version.
1, the characters are basically all assholes and there's not really a way to avoid that.
2, the food seems to be so random that you can literally sit there collecting 9 of something you don't need, just waiting for a 3rd cucumber or something to finally spawn. I assume this also means the food gets thrown faster the whole time. The worst of it all is that the extra food you collect doesn't count towards the next level so you have to do it all over again. :P
In the current (Post LD) version we made the following adjustment: as soon as the player gets the recipe he gets only missing food mixed with tableware coming at him, so the player have not to wait endlessly for that cucumber.
But for the purpose of fair play we decided to leave LD Jam version available for evaluation.
Also make sure you play Overcooked on Steam if you haven't already for a hectic team experience.
I left my rating of your game, if you can leave your feedback in our game, Witch's Escape.
I hope you continue with the project.
