I manged to escape from the light in 1 round, but then wasn't able to the other.
I think some more instruction on how the fires are kept alight would be useful, so rocks build a new fire and wood sustains them? I wasn't quiet sure.
Could see this concept expanded with more resources and enemies and it could be really fun.
Godot is awesome :sunglasses:
The first black screen is pretty much useless, thou. I thought the game was loading, but you just have to click anywhere.
The gameplay is serviceable and definitely fits the theme. I feel like more could have been done with darkness and sound design/animation of the monsters to add more to the fear factor the rest of the atmosphere provides.
Overall, I think the game is definitely worth checking out. It has pretty unique gameplay and very impactful art and sound design.
I do agree, it has a good mood/feel to it and the poor avatar looks terrified of the dark. Nicely done
And yes @prodigalson camera movement would have improved is, I will take it into consideration next time, thanks!
Please do check my game maybe you’ll like it and leave some feedback.
