Starsailer is a sidescrolling shooter where the screen is slowly enveloped by a black hole, forcing you to maneuver in a smaller area as the game continues.

Once you collect enough crystals from the current area (obtained by shooting obstacles, like asteroids and other ships), you'll be taken to the next area. Obstacles move faster in every consecutive area.
