PROJECT R.O.O.S. by MalyTimi

[raw]
made by MalyTimi for LD 42 (JAM)

It's a rather unusual submission- a mixture of an interactive comic and a visual novel. I made it in Microsoft PowerPoint because my programmer bailed me out at the last moment. Unfortunately, the animations work correctly only if you have Microfost Office.

How to play: Just click on the dialogue boxes and enjoy the story.

People complained that it didn't work correctly so the least I can do is to show you the gameplay:

Ha, PowerPoint! Funny and innovative, impressed by the level of interactivity you managed to create. I'm sorry your programmer bailed on you but you managed to create a very unique creation anyhow! Good job!

Not "realy" a game, but a realy cool narrative experience.
nice visuals and sound.
You have mastered powerpoint :)
Even without a developper, you managed to publish something, coherent, and that match with your competences.

High on innovation for using PowerPoint

Managed to play through the whole thing. First thing I notice was the music and my first thought was "holy shit you made this" and the I saw the credit, well thanks for finding a new awesome soundtrack to listen to.

The graphic are very good and cute. The story had its moments, both serious and fun and I loved the ending.

Bit of a shame that your programmer bailed on you but great work nonetheless.

I liked the visuals and the animations you managed to pull off. Unfortunately, I couldn't hear any sound (could be an issue on my end) so I won't comment on that. It wasn't much of a game but a nice interactive experience with a twist. I think what's most charming and unique about it is the fact you made it in PowerPoint. So in a sense your programmer bailing may have been a good thing. Good work!
