I really enjoyed this! I liked building big forests and then chopping them all down. Would have been good to have some opposition though, like raiders you have to fend off or a snow storm...

I liked the sound of the wind. Freezing. The graphics are good. There is a "Banished" vibe in this game.

Very cool entry. Needs some challenges or progression though to move things along. Nice work.

Satisfying to plant trees and harvest them, nice relaxing mood, definitely needs some kind of goals/game though!

Loved the atmosphere of this game. Loved building up my house, planting a forest, overall just a really well executed idea.

Nice atmosphere, a fun and relaxing game.

It maybe could have used another game play element or two to keep it interesting. Sometimes the upgrade/harvest buttons just randomly didn't work - particularly the upgrade buttons, I sometimes had to build a house before I could click it.

Anyway, good job - thanks.

Great atmospheric game. I'd love to see this game in the future with more content.

Nice little game, sadly it's a bit boring.

Thanks for all the comments so far, missing goals / purpose and the game being boring because of it - I totally agree :) Glad your all digging the atmosphere!

I liked your game. It add some management overhead over time, but not so much. Would be nice if there was a collision detection in place so you could not just place all trees on the same spot. Also I was surprised that houses can be placed ontop of each other.

Finding the time to add agents to a LD game is not so easy (I tried in my first one), but perhaps if there is overlap detection for tree placement, and you have a minimum distance between houses and perhaps also that trees has to be within some range of houses, then player is forced to spread out a bit.

I missed this LD myself, so I cannot rate your game, but kudos for a nice attempt.

Really neat looking! I included it in my Ludum Dare 34 compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out :) https://youtu.be/w1ddlauRQRk

Hey Pete, I really liked your game, you set out a nice chilling atmosphere, I think the only thing it needs is something to challenge a player :)

I guess you removed the need for stone? As things only needed wood.
