Very nice implementation of the theme! I also really liked all the shadow world music!

Hi @jofersgames,
thank you to playing our game! :)

Here is a hint:
You have to toggle with the "T"-key to the shadow world and active the switch (purple egg) in the bottom right corner, then the barrier will disappear. :)

@raphael-maia Thank you for trying out our game!

Here is a hint: When you are in the shadow world, walk to the bottom right lamp that is switched off. That will open the door for you. :sparkles:

The graphics and music were very well done. The idea of switching between worlds is great, though it feels a little contrived having townspeople being walls, especially when they are blocking you across both dimensions. I will also say that using Rock-Paper-Scissors for a combat system isn't great, it added a bit of a goofy tone which I don't think was really supported by the game and it doesn't create any interesting interactions because it is pure chance.

I really like the art and especially the Dark realm music. What I thought was really cool was then when you lost a heart the sound would play on the beat (or I was just really lucky XD). Although I thought that the movement of the player was way too slow and it felt like I was slowly crawling instead of walking. Also the fighting needs a bit more depths, but other than that it was great!

I love the exploration and the Dark World/Light World duality! Reminds me a lot of Link to the Past.

A couple of things that would have made the game a bit more immersive and fun would be a more interesting battle system, and music themes that are a little bit longer.

Oh wow this game is freaking cool! Love the idea!

Some gameplay feedback:
- Add ability for the user to swap key commands, I prefer WASD :)
- I love the little 'unlit lamp' puzzle in the beginning but it would be cool if you could introduce that in a more engaging way. The first time I met the old lady who was giving us back story, I just skipped through the entire dialog and had to come back and actually read what she was saying.

That said, I'm thoroughly impressed at what y'all were able to accomplish in a weekend.

I like the idea of parallel worlds and how they connect to each other. The game played great and the sounds and artstyle were amazing!

Hey I liked it, here's some feedback:
* Controls were a bit strange, maybe wasd and spacebar?
* As many, I couldn't find out what to do on the first room 😰. I went trough after reading your hint
* Movement is a bit weird, it's like the player keeps moving after I already stopped pressing the key

Other than that, art is BEAUTIFUL music is great too and it has a great mood!

Great work!

Pretty cool game, for me it became a bit stale in the gameplay department. The parallel worlds idea is cool but when moving to a new zone i got some lag switching between the worlds, a bit irritating.
Overall solid entry!

The graphics and story are great, and the music also fit well, and the sound effects on losing a heart were good too. The girl getting older through spending her lifepoints made it all hit home so much more. The general amount of content between the levels and the dialogue is absolutely enormous for such a short timespan.

I'd say the walk-around was a little bit slow. And I'm still not sure if the enemies' rock-paper-scissors is random, for some reason I was losing consistently through both random and scissor-heavy strategies to take advantage of the upgrade.
