Wow. That was awesome. I really enjoyed the game. I like how the game fits the theme. The only change I would make would be to add more rooms.

Pretty good jam game. I like that you were able to include multiple game modes in one weekend, although the only minigame that I got to play was "Don't Let the Ball Fall". That one confused me at first, because I'd expected it to bounce off of the wall when instead it just looped to the other side.

It's good that you included audio, but check your volume levels; it was ear-splitting.

I also noticed this error once I beat the boss:

ERROR: emit_signal: Error calling method from signal 'timeout': 'Area2D(final_demon.gd)::_on_start_timeout': Method not found.

@ransom did the error brake your game? I noticed that error, at like the last 3 hours the submission ended and since for me the game didn't crash I continued the final touches of the game XD! Thank you for the feedback and remembering me of that error. Even if the game didn't crash for you I'll submit tomorrow a new version with that error fixed.

The novelty of all the various interactions is really great, one of my faves. I played a minigame 3 times to get to the boss, and every time it was memory dance though.

Cool, dude. This one was really interesting. Notes:

- The dialogue sound is REALLY loud!
- The minigames are really, really cool.
- The genre change at the end surprised me and was pretty awesome to play.
- It's a lot like Mario Party!

Overall, this one is really cool. I really enjoyed it.

The only thing I would add is some more instructions on the input mechanism. With the space bar being the primary input mechanism it was not clear the mouse was needed, and I could not tell what was needed for some mini games.

@spirits The error didn't crash anything, thankfully! Just thought you should know.

I like the Mario Party aesthetic, the game was very colorful, and I like the dialogue. It's pretty impressive to include minigames given how short the contest is as well. The merging of the board game and the boss fight was cool, and it had a story surrounding it as well.

To improve, some of the sounds were a bit loud, and the level gave so many coins so the boss was really easy even though I was on a track pad and not playing well. Ideally I'd need to play smart on the board game and play well in the fight.

Nice use of dialogue, and contrast - not many people get that right. Try turning the volume down a bit, but overall, cool game!

Nice core mechanics and great cutscenes along with music and graphics.
Sad that god of random decided to show me only the minigame with shield.
But nevertheless - it's very enjoyable and polished board-like-game.
Great job!

Very fun. I like the Mario party like thing you did. I'm impressed that you can get all of that done in the time. Very good job.

I like the movement style, the dice roll and timing is a good thing to add into the game. There is a lot of visual flair in the game that I appreciate, with the nice sound effects and music, and good sprite work as well. The minigames are short and sweet and are a nice change of pace. I noticed this game was made on godot as well. All things being said, good job.

Very cute concept, I'm impressed you essentially made a single-player Mario Party! I wish there was a way I could play the minigames I haven't tried, rather than having to go through the whole game again. Overall lots of fun!

Good homage to Mario Party. The sound effects were good and the music loop didn't really get annoying which is rare with games like this. Don't really have any thing negative to say. Good Job!

The demon was wrong! I actually made it through the end. So he shall never be bored again. :D
Well, that was a really nice, detailed and versatile game. The random walking mechanic with cards is very interesting and I love the minigames. The boss at the end is nicely done and gives me the feeling of playing a finished and completed game. Thats very impressive, great work!

Thank you all for your feedback! This helps me a lot as a developer.

@gentel @arcus @mdwade @ransom Thank you again for your feedback guys, I made a new version with the SFX volume lower and the Error: founded fixed. I really appreciate your feedback

@monkeedude1212 @bbaf @rosypenguin @gurkan96 @nandon Thank you for the feedback concerning the mini games. I actually wanted to make 4 minigames, add tutorials and make an algorithm to not repeat them, but for the time I had left for LD44 that was not possible (I only spend about 4-6 hours on those 3 including the interface animation and art).

Thank you very much

This was a really cool game. I like the board game theme and the mini games were very impressive for the amount of time you had to do them. I wish you could skip the intro though. Other than that, it was a fun game and you guys did great!

Great game, the ending segment was really cool. I played the shield and ball minigames, both of which were fun (though I also expected the ball to bounce against the wall).

Really cool idea for a game. Personally not really a fan of Mario Party, but thought this was an interesting take on that sort of mini-game collection, but with the nice twist at the end. I could totally see this expanded.

Really fun and engaging game! Loved the simple art style and mechanics that were easy to pick up on. I really like the spin on what would be like a classic platformer layout but mixed up with something like a board game!

This was a really interesting and enjoyable entry! It was really fun going from room to room trying to keep a decent amount of coins whilst also playing enjoyable minigames! The occasional option to choose your path was a nice touch as well. I only really had two complaints here- one being that there weren't enough rooms so the game felt short, and the other being that I felt like the screens should be procedurally generated or randomly selected from a group of hand-crafted screens rather than having one predictable hand-crafted path. (although the hand-crafted layout worked perfectly fine as is) The boss was a nice touch and provided a refreshing change of pace of while still keeping the general idea of "your life is currency" in play. The idea of combining a typical 3d board game setup with a 2d platformer style was pretty innovative and made for a fresh and unique experience. I did , however, feel like the implementation of the theme was a little weak, as your life didn't really seem like currency. Maybe if you had shops where you could buy powerups or something? I really enjoyed the graphics, especially the game-boyish aesthetic that the minigames had, and I liked the audio as well, though the sound effects were loud (which I saw was patched in the new version). Great job, I say this is a solid 4.5 star entry!
