Slime Parade by Kilelock

Slime Parade is a game about friendship, family and love. You are the Slime King, the ruler of the whole kingdom and your mission is: collect all the fruit you can 'cause you're hungry as hell!. But, the thing is, you can't do it alone, you'll need the help of your 5 little friends.

Green and Purple will help you move left and right, 'cause you are so fat that you can't move by your own. Blue will help you jump! He is a special slime who can act like a mini-rocket! Red will shoot at all the targets for you, it's not a problem for him. Finally, Yellow can bark at things and activate them (YES, IT'S SLIME MAGIC), such as secret doors and teleports!
But... Beside all this 'family' thing, Slime King will get hungry. Fruits are not enough...

Between levels you'll have to SACRIFICE one of your friends to feed the Slime King. But be careful, you'll lose its ability too. For example, if you choose to kill Blue, you won't be able to jump again. Never.

(Sry for the gif, we couldn't do it any bigger :'c)
So embarc on this awesome adventure and gather all the fruits you can! We'd appreciate if you share with us your total score!
If you find any bug, please let us know, no one is perfect! ^^
To be honest this was by far one of our favorite GameJams. The theme was great to work with. We got laughs, lot of work and also coffee. It's been an honor doing 'Slime Parade' guys, We really hope you like it ^^

Couldn't play your game (compatibility) but it looks nice!
Cheers!
The graphics are also really nice. Good work!
@skyridge Thank you! It was really difficult to came up with it ^^
@lluismg Your Slimes are cute as hell dude! Good work and thank you for your rating! ^^
@saucygames There are tons of unexpected bugs like the one you told us, we are trying our best to polish every bug, but it's pretty difficult because these 2D colliders are something we find very difficult and 'glitchy' to work with... anyway, thanks for your rating! our sfx creator is very pleased ^^
@mangonels Slime King is one of those students that Slime Sensei had to sacrifice. (DEEP LORE).
-A: No! Levels do not change depending on the combination! We made the maps with all the possibilities, is up to you to get the most number of fruits taking advantage of your remainings slimes! ^^
-A: You can get up to 4 fruits on the last level, either if you have 'go right + jump' or 'go right + bark'. The thing is, the maps are balanced to get fair enough the same amounts of fruits in each level. The level design was hard as hell! ^^
Have a good day! ^^
Pretty clever approach to the theme! I applaud your level design efforts, that must have been a huge headache to account for.
There were a few minor polish issues -- some rendering artifacts, and I feel like the camera behavior could have been a little less abrupt, but the game was still fine in terms of playability despite that. Probably the biggest thing I'd point out is that when you first get to the eating screen it's difficult to remember which slime corresponded to what function. I'm sure you guys were well acquainted with the 5 little guys by the end of the weekend, but I wasn't able to internalize that after only a minute or two of gameplay. Even a simple reminder graphic could do the trick here.
