A short game about the long-term process of overcoming fears.

"There is a way out of the darkness."

This was my first time participating in Ludum Dare, and I specifically wanted to create an experimental / personal / alternative game. It's not meant to be a "fun" game, but I do hope it's an interesting experience. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Thanks for playing!

Like it. Experience was interesting, nice thing with the compass. Even though it is in the name, it took me a while.

A small but well done game. I especially enjoyed the change in the visual styles along the way. Interesting way to interpret the theme, I found the movement mechanics quite fun to play with.

I liked so much. Simple and innovative. What I'd like most: the mood (the music!) and the message about fear. Good job!

Found it really visually interesting the way the aesthetics kept changing over time. The game sometimes hangs a few frames. But still it conveys the mood really well. Excellent choice of sound and music. I get that it's not meant to be "fun" but it did strike a chord with me in a good way

I liked how the visual affects progressed from very distorted to having clarity. Pretty engaging experience :)

That was cool! I like how it plays with your expectations as a player "oh no! ominous thing, run away!" and how the abstract graphics managed to make an emotional response. I think it really worked for your message.

Thanks for the encouraging comments! I'm glad it was able to convey its message in an engaging way. It was my main goal, but had no idea if it would work! So I couldn't be happier... :')

You created lot of emotinal tension with this reduced means. Very cool experience. Would have liked to vote for the music/sound as well.
