Introduction

Very first Ludum Dare entry!

I have to admit that it isn't as polished as I hoped and had to scrap a few things. And it contains some very annoying bugs here and there.

The code... well that is one big pile of spaghetti code.

The original idea have more akin of keeping the old man satisfied, while you guide him out of the dungeon. You know how grumpy old man can get.

But that was too big of a scope. Next time smaller idea and better time management.

About the game

The game is a combination of the 'God Mode' games (Black&White, Sims, Interactive buddy) and 'Dungeon Crawlers' games (Binding of Isaac).

You - The Almighty One - will have to guide an old adventurer out of these dungeon that he has been crawling for decennia. You can tell the old man where to move and use your special god powers like the Fist, Almighty Fist, Freeze and Instant Pick locking Treasures. You will have to try to get the old man out of these dungeons without him dungeon from the enemies that roam the rooms. It will be a very hard task to do, because you will encounter many bugs... and I maybe forgot the implement an ending.

Maybe that is why the old man is still stuck in there. ;)

Gameplay

Pressing [1] activates the default cursor: With the default cursor you can guide the old man to a new location with the right mouse button. You can use the left mouse button to drag enemies, open chests and pick up loot.

Pressing [2] activates the the Fist: With the fist you can damage enemies. But be cautious you will not be able to move the old man while doing this.

When opening treasures you have the chance of getting potions with these potions you can unlock advanced abilities.

Pressing [3] activates (while having a full yellow bar) the Almighty Fist: Bigger, better, golden... For a short time.

Pressing [4] activates (while having a full blue bar) freeze on enemies: it will slow them and give them an icy look.

Apart from those two potions, you can also loot the red potion which gives you extra HP.
