WAYT by wsKilljoy
WAYT was made in 48 hours for Ludum Dare 43.
LD43's theme is "sacrifice," and sacrifice, you will. Every brick you land on breaks soon after, so you'd better keep moving if you want to stay alive. WAYT features 10 levels of varying difficulty.
TOOLS USED:
Music - Musescore 3
Art - Aseprite
Promo - Gravit Designer
Engine - Godot 3

And yeah, the music is pretty good.
I got accustomed enough to it, and managed to get to level seven. It's quite frustrating how you can make blocks despawn just by brushing up against the side of them, and the fact that you have very little recourse in that level means that a single mistake can send you all the way back to the start.
The sound isn't great, if I'm honest. I have no idea what mood the music is trying to convey; is it energetic, or laid back? The trumpet stings seem out of place compared to the subdued bass and percussion, and the saxophone lines seem to just meander. And there are no sound effects. Boo.
Talking about "stepping on it", the block is triggered to disappear when you collide on it. It doesn't matter if it was your foot or your head. It should disappear only when you "land on it", right?

Oh, and some animations and SFX for disappearing/exploding bricks would be pretty nice!
Overall, good job! The art and the music are great.
Awesome work. I always enjoy a good challenging game...one I finish it that is
Also, the player spawn position in Level 2 is kind of bad, you will fall into the air if you are holding left/ right when you respawned. That's super unfriendly for a game that requires players to do a lot of try like yours! Fortunately, this problem doesn't appear in the following level I tried😂
Music is awesome btw
I'm using Godot engine too, it always a pleasure to play games made with it!
One thing though, I think the theme does not fit really here. But otherwise, it plays very nicely.
Aside from that: Nice simple graphics, get to the point. Quite like the music. I tend to like a more flexible interpretation of the themes, and this is close enough in my books, though it could have gone farther within the mechanics you already had going.
It says TypeError: document.getElementById(...) is null on line 317 on both accounts.
Sorry!
