Fading Memories by schmavery

Congrats, you made it to your 80th birthday!

Unfortunately your memories are fading. With each passing birthday, you must reorganize your memories to the best of your abilities and attempt to fit them into your deteriorating brain. You won't be able to get them to fit together perfectly, but you can try to keep as many as you can out of the fading regions of your brain.

  • Mouse to click and drag memories
  • Spacebar to rotate memories (when dragging them) and continue

Great job combining puzzle and emotional storytelling.

Really creative take on the theme! Brutally emotional.

Sad to think that they would stop turning up if you forgot them one time. Interesting concept.

@beats yeah maybe his family isn't the most supportive.. one idea we had was that he forgets to invite them the next year or even just "stops seeing them" even though they're there. Sad either way..

Displaying the memory as a puzzle and the idea in general is very creative :)

Kinda messed up, messed up but nice. Good use of theme, nice idea and good execution. a bit on the simple side but its fully functional and works. Good game!

Nice take on the theme. good Graphics and sounds too. The emotion perspective makes it kinda hard to choose which one to sacrifice . good job

Stinking family/staff not showing up because my poor old guy is getting old and forgetting things. More cake for Joe!

Loved the idea, and it was executed very well. Music loops plenty, but never felt bothersome at all. Love all of the voices too.

My only complaint might actually be intended, but anyway- I wish I could place blocks on-top of one-another so that I could better move the blocks around.

Very creative. For me the hardest part was trying to rearrange the pieces already on the board; there isn't enough room around the edges to get the pieces out of the way. Very tough.

Man, that made me kind of sad. Great job on the game.

Well done! I wish I had a sideboard to put the pieces on for better arranging but I'm guessing the difficulty was by design. Reminds me of one of those sliding block puzzles I hate... :-)

This was actually pretty sad, you did a good job telling a story through gameplay. It was simple, but well polished and fun to play.

Wow. That was surprisingly effective on many levels, including emotional ones. The writing between characters when they were forgotten... damn. I'm going to share this with folks.

A very nice interpretation of the theme. I really appreciated the realistic aspect of your game. It is sad but the mechanics are fun (ambivalent isn't it? ).

Really interesting take on the theme. It's a simple gameplay, but the puzzles are very challenging. Good job!
