RTSChess by Kylman123

[raw]
made by Kylman123 for LD 41 (JAM)

Rally your pieces! It's time for battle!

RTSChess is a real time take on... well chess. Grab a friend and use the keyboard to control two opposing armies.

Pieces can be moved by selecting a tile that a normal chess piece should be able to path to, the piece will automatically find the shortest route.

Pieces have one or more "units" assigned to them. These units will do the fighting when they are in range of enemy units. Each type of unit has specific attributes to go with their movement patterns. Bishops will heal! Knights will leap! Kings will inspire, and more!

Hope you have fun, made for Ludum Dare 41.

I liked how this was drawn and animated. It kind of reminded me of 'wizards chess'.

I liked the idea, mainly the fact that it is not turn based like regular chess. Don't forget to add a feedback for the player, whenever he chooses a piece. It will help to make the gameplay feels smooth :) Congratulations on the entry!
