This game's great. It's got an awesome game loop concept, and it got me invested early on. I loved it.

Really interesting game! Felt like I was running out of space on the screen and in my bag.

Good Work!

I was at the itch.io page and saw no macOS version? I downloaded the one file and it only had .exe stuff in it.

Congratulations on your first game, looks very promising! :)

There is no Mac or Linux version. It looks like you're using Unity, so you might want to just use the built-in Mac and Linux exporters. Also missing: the source code

This looks pretty cool, but I'm having the same issue as @tuism with the macOS download link.

This game is really neat!

Pros:
- The Inventory System is so cool!
- The pixel art is awesome.
- The game play is solid.
- Animations are really nice!

Cons:
- None to speak of. (Maybe make more levels and a wider variety of enemies.)

Also, is there no source code link?

I love this game. Like, seriously, who'd a thought inventory management could be so fun? The concept isn't even all that great, but the execution is fantastic! Definitely the best LD42 game I've played so far. Be proud of this one.

No idea what's going on with the form because I definitely didn't specify Mac/Linux versions and I definitely DID add the source code.
Bear with me, will add the ports once Unity's installed the exporters.

I __think__ I just finished the OSX build, I've got no idea if it's working alright but if you wanted to take a look it's up on Itch now

Also for everyone who's played, thanks so much for the kind words :)

I love this game! Great take on the theme, and the minigun is super cool. The music goes well with the gameplay, and the graphics are really nice!

First of all, I love the aesthetics. Music, Graphics, Sounds, everything.

The game mechanics are pretty pretty solid, very addictive and it was fun trying to reach that b*g f****ing sword, and when I finally reached it... Holy moly. And you can put lots of lots of different weapon mechanics throrugh items. If I were you I would expand it with other RPG elements so it would be complicated.

But before you would make it more complicated (currently you shouldn't), I think you should bind (for example) the middle mouse to "drop" an item to a bag, or even you could drop an item everywhere, creating a bag on the ground.
You could also use this button for auto-placing an item into your inventory from a bag, but at first sight it would make the inventory management part of the game a bit less fun and accentual so maybe no.

Thanks for the experience!

Great work! I toyed with the idea of an inventory management thing like this (without the shooter element) and have seen a lot of people doing the same, but adding the arcade shooter too it is a super cool twist on the concept and really makes it stand out. Art looks great too!

Love the mechanics you should continue in this way nice. Improove graphics like classic cartoon could be enought to get a better spirit for a story :)

Really great take on inventory management. If I have one major beef with it, it would be that enemies have a tendency to spawn inside of me. maybe have a small bubble around the player where enemies can't spawn because while I recognize that danger while messing with the inventory is kinda the point; enemies can spawn inside you even if you stand still for a split second, and it just feels cheap.

Love it. Adding more enemy types will add more depth to the already awesome game.

Great work. Awesome mechanics, fitting music and sound effects.

Levels and more enemy types could make this into a real game!

Really great job! :)

Cool game - it's a bit frustrating because you have to watch so many things at the same time, but hey, we asked for it. Sound is awesome, graphics neat. I couldn't get a big sword into my inventory, dunno what happened there...

One of the best entries I played so far!

I loved this game! I love the frantic feeling of rummaging through your inventory while ghosts inexorably hover toward you from all sides.

I also like how the different colored ghosts have different personalities.

Loved the music, so catchy. I liked the end screen, too. I coudln't pick up the sniper rifle or the shotty although seemingly I had enough space.
