Zoom: A Racing Text Adventure by cesque

[raw]
made by cesque for LD 41 (JAM)

wasn't really planning on doing Ludum Dare this time because im starting a new job in like 2 days, but this idea was so funny and low-effort enough that i couldn't resist. i've no doubt that other people will cotton on that combining 'text adventure' with basically anything is a pretty funny concept...

first time using Twine and i really liked it. anyway this was dumb, had fun with a couple of ideas and kinda learnt a new technology

Simple but I really liked it. :‌D
The repetitiveness actually made it kind of challenging to properly read again and again to make sure to stay on track. Incompatible genres indeed but a fun game nevertheless. ^_‌‌^

The theme is fun. The text is nice and descriptive, although it gets quite repetitive.

Slightly spoilers: ~~the text near the end was very fun. Also, I found a cheating method for most of the race: it seems links that are associated with "empty road" turn slightly purple, so instead of reading to find out which direction to go, I jst looked at the links.~~
