Charming graphics and audio, really well presented on both those fronts. In terms of gameplay it got a bit slow towards the last house or two but a nice concept on trying to manage time and destinations effectively.

I like the low poly aesthetics you've got here. It's a good, coherent style. The little speech blurbs were adorable and fit well with the game. It's a stretch for the theme usages though. Overall, great entry!

Just a FYI for everyone the leader board is buggy and isn't working for the time being I know how to fix it for the next LD Jam but just so you're aware it doesn't work in its current state.

Good game, but I didn't understand how this relates to the theme.

@mohrro You have to sacrifice your time to safe Christmas I guess :)

This is incredibly cute, the voice acting is such a nice touch, loved the "Finding Nemo" reference! The funny thing is that I feel like you made the whale move exactly like a magical land whale would move

The graphics are just absolutely stunning for a compo game, one of the best I have seen in fact. The mood is super festive, thanks to the amazing art, sound and especially the cozy lighting effects.

Really enjoyed playing through the game!

PS. I see that you have gotten quite few votes (both in this entry and in your previous ones), in order to get more ratings and comments you need to rate and comment on other games. This brings up your “coolness”-stat, and will bring your game higher up on the list. A good rule of thumb is that you get about 1 vote per game that you vote on, and you need 20 votes on your game to get a score in the end. Because I feel like you have a really good chance at getting a great score! :star:

OMG, what a cute whale! :D
Love the little voice clips, the graphics are really nice as well ^^

My only gripe with your game is the lack of "sacrifices". But you've got quite a fun game that you can probably expand on for the future ^^

Congrats!

Nice Game! I really like the cool atmosphere you were able to get going! The audio is simple, but that Whalebert... what a freaking adorable little whale that is. I had a good few runs. OH! Speaking of runs! Not sure if your Leaderboards are working... I was able to get 1:42 and 1:45 as Ratherjolly, but didn't seem to make it on the leaderboards. All in all, nice game :)

This was a cute little game! The character movement took a bit of getting used to but once you did it felt weighty and like a flying magical whale, which was quite satisfying to control, although I did get stuck on some lamps and rocks. The gameplay was simple and it worked, although I think maybe having a smaller limit to presents you could hold could up the challenge and make it harder to get a good time. The music and voice lines were a nice touch, and added a really cool atmosphere, I would have loved more to really flesh it out. Overall this was a cute little game. I didn't really see how it fit the theme, and there were a few lighting glitches in the park, but I enjoyed it.

Nice to play, but I don't fully undestand how it relates to the ludum dare theme, though :( Nice audio and design!

I love the visuals. I hate when people leave the configuration window at the start and can't to the settings themselves, so I was surprised to see no menu.

It is a very lovely game, especially the whale and the music. However, I barely feel any sacrification theme from the game. Other than that, I think the controlling of the whale's moving needs to be improved.

The game is very nice, and I love the christmas theme! Though, I don't quite understand where the sacrifice is?

Cool game, though it just barely fits the theme. Cute music and sounds. The rotation makes the movement a little wonky, but it fits the style of the game overall. I would've added powerups or some obstacles that try to stop the player so that its not the same game every time.

A pretty unique approach to the "crazy taxi" formula, though I was confused as to how it fits into the theme The movement felt kinda inaccurate at times, but otherwise a solid game.

Really, really cute little game you made! The visuals and especially audio are just adorable. Gameplay is solid, but I wished it was all a little faster, the movement felt a little sluggish but this kinda adds to the mood. I don't see much relation to the theme either, but who cares, you just made the game you wanted to make and that's awesome! Good job overall!

@erkberg thank you, yeah I really wasn’t feeling the theme and missed the last 2 due to not liking the theme so I just sat down and made the game I want.
