Cool concept. It was a little strange at first but it grew on me. I liked the custom character introductions. Nice job!

I love the adorable aesthetic as well as the mechanics and the take on the theme. The controls were a little tricky, but manageable. I had fun playing this. Good job!

Wow, I'm impressed, such a cool game! The pixel graphics look beautiful, the soundtracks are great, love the way it changes when the player changes. The game idea is also really cool. The level design is awesome, I love the way it ends up where we started. Congrats on making this amazing game! :D

Great stuff! Concept is really cool and can definitely be expanded on. I love how you gave all characters some personality, especially with the music changes.

Great game! Your games' controls are always so tight and good feeling, especially for 48h. This time you did it with 6 different characters! The level design was very interesting. Took me longer than I want to admit to figure dout how to get the last diamond. The only thing I'm confused about is the green guy. I never unlocked him but I beat the game? I saw some portion of the map to the left and below that looked intentionally designed, but I never needed to traverse. Was he a feature that got scrapped? Regardless, a really fun game that I would love to see more of.

Really fun game, loved the art style and the gameplay was really tight!
You captured the theme really well, and the music was great.
I think a check-point system would have been nice instead of having to restart when you die.
I also noticed some update jitters on boxes and players, not that it makes the game unplayable.

@christian-pickett @mzhovnach @slizzben @jharler @mruniverse @silkworm-sweatshop For your kind words... THANK YOU! :smile:

@game-mon Glad you enjoyed it! Though I wish I had more time to make more rooms/puzzles...

@kaleido @furtive-pygmy Yeah I really wanted to add a savepoint system. Thing is, if you kill a character on a screen that you're not meant to, and you save, the single-path through the game becomes unprogressable/unsolvable... I'm sure it's possible to do, with characters respawning or such, but my brain could not handle the cognitive load on the little sleep that I had. :zzz:

@nick-rafalski Thank you! The green guy... was designed to roll around without a jump... but yeah he's not accessible. I should have removed him. You're right about the portion of the map on the left and bottom. I'd wanted the pink floaty one, Andrea, to float on down to the left, where you find a fish to go underwater for a bit... then you come back up to find the ending. I just didn't have time to make that section and had to leave it out. I'd love to explore more of this game idea in future and finish it off properly. :slight_smile:

@morriss It's a compo entry, so no team mates, it's just me on this! Thank you for playing. (Edit: Ahh, no worries!)

Love this, it feels like a complete experience. The character switches (with humourful lore) are well paced, and I loved how the rooms were inter-woven with each other, opening up with new abilities. Some parts felt a little unfair (the rainbow badge next to the spikes when you're Mr. Double Jump is especially easy to miss) but I was compelled to see everything the world had to offer. Great stuff!

Very nice idea. Gameplay feels solid. Sounds are awesome. Did you use Emscripten for HTML5 support?
PS: I used my C++ custom engine as well, go check my game ;)

Wow, that was really fun! The more I played, the more I began to enjoy it. It took me a long while to figure out what to do with the snake.

I was honestly impressed by the unique stylized music you had for each one of the people you were controlling. That was pretty cool. Looks like I ended up with 22 deaths:

All in all, a super cool take on that.

@chrismcmath :thumbsup:

@ruba I did use Emscripten! Makes web export so easy. Your game is Windows only so I can't play it on my own computer. :( Got a Mac build or try Web?

@andrewl @raisethedead @craftlord Thank you. I will check out your games shortly. :slight_smile:

@aurel The snake was the last character to go in so the completion/goal with it was a bit rushed! :snake: Pretty good score. Thanks for sharing!

@arvejeitor Familiar? He's called Joe because he's an Average Joe! Is that what you are making a point of? :stuck_out_tongue:

@gwinnell Still need to port encryption part (used for highscores) to OSX, so I doubt that I'll make OSX port this time.
Thanks for inspiration to use Emscripten though ;)

Wow amazing game. Easily my favorite so far. The only issue I encountered was that I couldn't really jump when I was moving against a wall. Probably some collision detection issue. The audio really stood out here. A different track for every character really gives this game a lot of character and charm despite the simple graphical style. It's mind blowing what you were able to do in just 48 hours!

Very polished platformer! I included it in my compilation video series of games from the Ludum Dare, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/8tDu1hDasJ8

It took me a while to find out what to do to get the last diamond, cool idea!
For a while (in the polished version) I thought I could reach the 'higher' diamond with Terry... only later I realized it was part of the interface LOL.

![jump.png](///raw/9ce/91/z/1fb89.png)

I think that part worked better in the compo version, where that area was red so it immediately looked unreachable.

Awesome job! I especially loved the variety of characters and that each one of them had a theme song :)

Very cool entry. I really like the variety of the characters, and the intros and music that go with them. I didn't like that I lost all my progress when I died in a room without anyone else in it, but tat also sort of works with the theme. Good job!

Wow, amazing game, especially for a compo entry! (but also amazing compared to most jam entries)

Excellent level design, I loved the puzzle of using all abilities to get the rainbows. Took me a while to figure out you can go left with the pushy guy. Platforming also felt very solid. I had a lot of fun playing it. Thank you for making this game! :)
