This is the story of the blood magician Blodd following his dreams of become a great wizard. To do this he follows an old ritual forcing him to sacrifice as many creatures as possible. With each sacrifice he comes closer to his goal, closer to his dream, closer to his faith. And after all it will be worth it... - or will it?

This is the first game we published, we hope you enjoy it..

Changelog: 06.12: Some enemies in game were immortal and bullets weren't shown; this isn't the case anymore.

A huge well done for completing your LD game :) !!
The controls are smooth enough, but it's a shame I can't see the projectiles the wizard is shooting, is that normal ?
Anyway I really like the cute cartoony graphics and story ! All in all it's a solid game jam entry, keep it up !

Cute art, reminded me a lot of the Newgrounds Flash games I grew up playing. The game felt a bit glitchy to me at times. As the above commenter mentioned, I couldn't see my projectiles - until 190 kills. Then for some reason shortly after that only bats spawned and I couldn't do damage any longer.

Main recommendations balance wise would be to spawn in a lot more enemies. At no point did I feel overwhelmed, which is a shame, because I feel that would add a nice tension to the game.

Great job finishing the jam! Keep it up. :rocket: :smile:

The graphics are cute! Controls felt little hard, some directions got locked time to time but not entirely. I think taking damage needs a different effect, I didn't realize I can take damage until I made 100 points :D Anyway, good work!
