This was fun. Unfortunately after a dozen or so tries, I had to bow out of the last level. I just couldn't get there in time. I really like the mechanics, even if sacrificed followers hovering in midair doesn't make sense. I would have liked if the level didn't end until all the followers caught up with you. It's a small detail, but I think it would been a nice effect. Also, some momentum in the controls would be nice. Since most platformers have that feature, it's ingrained in my muscle memory. It was tough to learn the proper jump timings because of that.

@jharler thanks for playing! I unfortunately didnt get to add the art stuff to make the followers be impaled, so yeah they just kind of float there :D Movement was a little off, so I've made a little adjustment which should hopefully make it feel a bit better :)

5/5 for humor. oh my god, the one liners! very well made, but the game its self is super difficult. the platforming could use some more control mid air.

Fun game, but the movement and jumping is definitely not tuned for the platforming possibles. Overall though, it's enjoyable and the idea is neat!

I just wish the movement was tighter. Was really good. Audio made it perfect.

I absolute loved the voices and it was super fun. I enjoyed exploiting the game mechanics to beat the levels and it was crazy hilarious. Great take on the theme, reminds me a lot of lemmings :)

The mechanic is fantastic! I think you can make so many levels and build a really interesting funny game! Just some improvment in graphics and audio and it will be really good game.

Humor: 0, some people love Michael Jackson you know... Just joking, and +1 for A Perfect Circle reference!

I absolutly loved it, gameplay, humor, your interpretation of the theme, all perfect. Music could have been a little less repetitive though. Great work !

Just to let you know, in level 13, if you jump from the top platform, you go through the ground.

Right from that stylish title screen I knew this was special! Great idea, fun mechanic, hilarious snippets from the moribund followers, this was great. Only issue was fiddly platform and my failure in one level carrying onto the next (thank god for new followers). Good stuff!

So many voice lines :D The gameplay is great _only_ sacrificed 75! The step precision was sometimes a bit infuriating ;P

This is a fun take on a platform game and a cute use of the sacrifice theme! Sound effects were fun too. Great gamejam game. Hoping to see a post-jam version!

Nice variance in levels, glad it was difficult. Movement was a little tough, but well done overall.

What a nice take on the theme and puzzle games in general. A 2D game where you sacrifice Pikmin and use them as ways to traverse areas for puzzles? What can really go wrong there.

Excellent game James! I ended up finishing it after stream and spent a good chunk of time getting through everything.

You rock bud!

I saw the game on Dan's stream, which peaked my interest and I wasn't disappointed. The take on the theme is pretty funny as are the voice bits. Props for the full menu, level select and most of all, grace jumps.

The movement could use a bit of easing, though I didn't have that much trouble with the controls, except for the last lvl, which took a few tries. Also the lava pit on the last level seems to be missing a collider. But it's quite funny when all the followers jump after the player into the void.
The only other minor nitpick would be the follower collisions - placing/impaling 2 followers but falling off made it almost impossible to get back up using the same 2 followers as the player can't jump thru the
followers even when it seems the gap is wide enough.

BTW. I sacrifised 73 followers (unless that is reset when using the lvl select, which I accidentally entered a few times when trying to restart a level).
