Into The Darkness by Dark Fox

[raw]
made by Dark Fox for LD 39 (JAM)

This is the first time that i participate in Ludum Dare, so don't expect too much from my game. So, the game is about robot Bob-33 who is main electrician at ISS. But Bob is scared of dark! He has his flashlight that's running out of power and you must help him to find as many batteries for his flashlight in order to reach the fuse and fix the malfunction.

This is a good start, congratulation.

I tried surviving a few time but... run out of power.

What I liked:

- The graphics are very nice
- Moving around feels natural, you can even "hang" on the side of platform

What I disliked:

- The power supply is running far too quickly, this makes the game very hard to play.
- Picking up extra battery doesn't seems to give you much power, but this may be because it runs out fast.
- You don't need an installer for an unity game, just zip the files and provide them as is. It's turns people away to have to install a program, and it's unnecessary steps. (I know just a few click but if you have to review
5000 games it adds up)

Great game but I would have to agree with Togis, the installer really put me off at first but overall this is a nice little game.

Maybe adjust the rate that you run out of power, as it is currently very fast and the batteries do not seem to do much to negate this.

I like the feel of the controls, very fluid and simple. Didn't have to think too much about what I was doing in that department so that's a plus.
Very simple concept was nice and the graphics are very nicely done, I think these fit the theme well.
