This was fun! I managed to get it to go negative distance once, and another time I landed in the air.

My best was 7981. I found gunpowder to give the best results, which seems odd compared to the much more expensive fuel. Also, I had no idea how to use the nozzles. I played all the way to every upgrade and then some, though, so it was fun :)

Great game! I love these types of things. I got to a little over 5k.

I had a weirdly good time playing this game. I especially enjoyed (in a kind of masochistic way) how some of the upgrades would make my ship horribly off balance and send me spinning out of control and crashing. I wish that using some of the higher level fuels didn't make me stay up in the air for a really long time.

Update: I accidentally flew my rocket negative 28 thousand meters. I'm in terrible debt now. This game rocks.

Interesting idea, I played on PC but had serious problems flying even couple of steps at the beginning even though I clicked rather fast.

Best distance 10,599. I played on PC and the gunpowder seems a little buggy. Clicking fast on the keyboard just seems to launch the rocket far in either the positive or negative direction. I also did not understand how the steering worked. The nozzles say tap up or down to steer, but I did not notice any steering when taping up or down. But overall I love the idea of the game, with some polish I could see this being a popular mobile game.

Best science kit I never bought. This was lots of fun. Gunpowder is the best by far.

Really fun and addictive. Highest score was 4570 lowest was -400. The gunpowder is OP!

I spent 10k on fuel that was worse than the fuel before it but other than that I don't really have anything bad to say about this game. I actually had a ton of fun playing it!

@incobalt @alwaysinbeta @thorneto: You're right gunpowder can sometimes propel the rocket farther than liquid oxygen. Now I divided the force of gunpowder in half. That way liquid oxygen propels the farthest and the time-in-air is not increased, which @will-walters noticed can be very long.

This is actually a very fun game.

The only adjustments I would make would be to add some sound, and to zoom out the camera a bit so you can get a better feel for how far you're going (at the moment it's slightly boring waiting for it to land when it goes really far, but if you could see the ground while you were flying, and maybe there were trees or something, it would be better).

Other than that though, a really good game :).

btw: Landed in the air at 10330m.

I landed in the air! :D 8760m It needs some sounds or music, and some balancing (you can get all the stuff in minutes)

Had a lot of fun upgrading my rocket -- I think it was a good choice to keep the upgrades coming quickly. I think a little more feedback, especially on steering, would be helpful, because I was not always sure exactly how I was affecting things. This is probably my favourite take on the theme so far; well done!

I really like upgrade-games, so I like this one x) Physics is not perfect but is working. Gameplay simply need to be balanced.

It's a great idea, but you hit the end of the progression so quickly - One my second shot, I landed awkwardly on the ground, and bounced miles into the sky. I was pretty much able to unlock everything besides the final fuel upgrade after that.

It's certainly innovative and fun, I just wish there was a bit more of it :)

Great job on the entry though - looking forward to seeing your next LD!
