The music was pretty good.

The game is tough and probably will take a lot of doing. Not sure the little twist adds too much but it was a fun game.

I flew in an enemy and i got more space. Am i worng or should that be? Good sounds!!

Very tough game, I did not manage to survive. Ignoring enemies, a long tested and battle hardened tactic suddenly does not work here. Could use a little bit more variety in sounds effects.

Pretty good game. I liked the music and the twist of reducing the space, although I feel that some minor changes would soft the difficulty curve. Good job!

@swini That was intentional. When testing, I found that if I didn't give space back when hitting enemies, the game was impossible to complete. Thanks for the feedback.

A fun game, I've beaten it in the 3rd try, nice music and overall gameplay, I also liked very much the "Jumping to hyperspace" at the end.

Tough, good use of theme. Great job.

It's very hard to avoid the bullets and it's a bit weird that you ask for the player's volume settings before starting the game. Also a bit confusing having two continue buttons.

Tough, but okay game. Graphics were pretty miserable though. Who is that person supposed to be? He looked terrifying.

I love the fact that it becomes very difficult at some point.

I like that there are different objectives for each level, and outside of gameplay, volume sliders are always great.

Awesome music! I just didn't like how my ship got stuck to the wall.

Way tougher than it looks, but overall fun.

Great game! I really like the idea. My one wish is that the ship blaster sound was shorter, it can get a little annoying when I hold down the space bar. Besides that, solid game.

Cool little space shooter with a nice take on the theme! The controls and graphics were fluid! I have to admit you had me a bit worried with your cover art work :) I really enjoyed the fact that there are multiple levels, a volume configuration screen and a nice progression. Would be awesome with some sort of storyline background. Music was pretty cool too (Was it generated?)

Great job overall!

Oh, it's amazing! Especially music and the "running of space" mechanics)

@mertios - That person is supposed to be Rick Dervish...I guess a career as an artist is out of the picture for me

@karlipoppins - Music was mostly generated, but made a few tweaks in audacity to smooth out some weirdness.

I loved you idea, is really fun!

Music is nice (maybe some variations to sound effects will improve this factor) and the difficulty is very high.

Nice entry for this LD42 man, it surely needs some graphic polishing but it's a nice game :)

Thanks for your work and good luck!

Fun, Nice mix of the classical shooter with the theme. Was a bit tough, but not impossible. Completed in 4th attempt.

Good take on running out of space! Controls well and pretty complete in terms of features. Another attack type would be really useful, especially something lateral. The fire trail expansion could be more fun if it was temporary, so you could to "weather the storm" of a miss and earn your way back to some breathing room by playing well. Nice job overall.

Tough game, as others have said, but great use of the theme. The audio was good too. However, I did find a glitch in Level 1: if you fly to the extreme right or left, the ship goes out of the map, so you always win. Apart from that, though, great job.

Nice small game coldfire83. I found the difficulty curve quite high getting quickly hard or maybe I simply suck at these games haha. The music was nice and overall i didn't find too many critical bugs or issues playing. Was there some story for the orange area which narrows your space? Overall fresh and creative idea, overall well done!

Cool game. I like the movement of the enemy ships, it's really hard to beat. The background is cool, so is the concept. It's a well put together game.

I wish I wasn't this terrible at schmups. But still a fun game, the art is...special. :)

The music is really good. Multiple tracks too!

Good classic shmup action. I like that you tweaked some of the default unity speeds on a game object. I always found the default unity controller settings to be too unresponsive for a shmup and I like the values that you chose.

I turned the SFX down to 10%. The sounds were quite distracting, but the music was very good!
Nice use of the theme, quite a twist to the very familiar shmup mechanics!

After the first level the game got very hard. Or maybe I'm just not a good shmup player.

Well done!

I'm a massive fan of shmups / bullet hell games, so I automatically love this based on genre. The control of the ship felt decent, firing rate felt ok (maybe could be a bit faster but less powerful-- seems more exciting while still doing same DPS), and enemies not too bad either! I've always been fascinated with the different firing patterns of the enemies in these types of games-- they really add to the experience and force the player to learn and react, which I feel like is crucial. You seem to have done a good job implementing some of these firing patterns! I played this game longer than some others. Perhaps graphics could use some love, but overall, certainly a fun game. I really appreciate your entry, nice work!

What a good idea! Needs some polish, but nut a bad entry all-in-all.

Nice game, liked the music. THe default volume might be a bit on the high side for my taste.
