I got bigfoot twice! - I really liked the visual effect for the camera lens. Great job!

Fun game! In my opinion, it doesn't fit the theme that much, but it's still great. Graphics are pretty good, and sound effects are a nice touch to what creature you get a picture of. The trees shaking is also a great way of showing the player Bigfoot is there, nice job.

Simple game, but, I liked the attention to the little details like the shaking objects and the visual effect on the camera lens. I get a silly sense of satisfaction whenever I capture Bigfoot on film. Great job!

The game was fun, and the graphics were pretty nice. It would be nice if there were some more challenge, like things that, if you take pictures of them, make you lose money. Still, great job.

@coldfire83 Original intention was centering the photo would increase value (done) + trees/rocks blocking an animal would reduce the value (didnt get time to implement). Something that would make you lose money, hadn't thought about that but yeah good idea too.

Impressive for a JS game, but I didn't think it fit the theme.

@shinysteel @gary-beebe Fair enough RE the theme, its obviously very subjective :D My thinking with the theme was "running out of space" is a common warning when you're running low on memory/disk space, so I applied that to the camera hence the limited 5 shots left.

Quick little game to play! I agree that it doesn't really fit the theme, I mean... I guess itsorta does since you're running out of FOOTage space... I guess you need to get a BIGger camera if you know what I mean... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

the audio is super funny, loved it!) feel like there could be more interesting objects to photo, and why i am not getting money for the rock picture?!

@akros haha, cause a rock is boring ;) Yeah I had intended to include more types of animals but ran out of time. Audio was just recording my voice or whistling and then a few tweeks in Audacity.

@naemis :D

Clever little game, you have the tools to make it longer. And I think you should. It's a nice idea :)

Very nice quick game. It'll be interesting where this heads to: e.g. how would a longer game look like? You probably need to depart from the theme adaptation to get another dimension than waiting for all animals to cross at the same time to shoot.

Lots of fun, laughed out loud at "carrot". If I had one complaint, it's that the camera flash is a *little* too bright and disoriented me a bit, but that's it! Keep up the good work.

I really love this art style and this somewhat unique mechanism. The only problem may be unchanged wildlife -- well, then it would be too much for 48 hours.

interesting game I liked it but not relatable with the theme. I also liked it instructions were quite clear and simple. you should have added some more animals to make it more appealing and playable.

at first I didn't figure out how this fits the theme but I did quickly.
That's a clever way to match it, nicely done!😂

@guardhei @nexusviper yeah I had originally planned to do a bird, bear, deer and rabbit + bigfoot, but ran out of time unfortunately.

Loved it! The game is simple, but it's really fun. Between the art and audio, the aesthetic is really cohesive and cute. The "Bigfoot!" sound effect is priceless. Great job!

Very original game! :) Could totally be expanded with some additional challenges. Art is really nice.

Very cute entry! I really liked it. As others have said, it could do with some more content, but obviously you could say that about nearly every LD entry.

Loved the art style, the sounds were really cute, and taking good photographs was actually pretty satisfying. I did, however, find it a bit too easy, and managed to get all 5 bigfoot pictures on my first attempt at doing so. But it would be really neat to see this expanded upon! Enjoyed playing it on stream, for as brief a time as I did :)

I really like the quick little voice lines when you snap a pic of the animals. Real clever use of the theme too!

Interesting concept and it's well executed. It gets boring fast but everything up to that point is very pleasing! The graphics are pretty and the sound effects are charming :).
