What a brilliant idea! I actually laughed out loud mutliple times during this game. Adding measurements for the distance of your (filthy) manspreading was a great idea and I loved the random commentary from our MAN throughout the game. For improvement I would say add more varied gameplay, it felt very 'samey' after a while.

This game connects with me at a visceral level and i cant play without weeping, really though a fun little game with a nice sense of humor, you should try remaking it as a rhythm game!

This game is alright. I don't think it fits for the theme though

Good game! Definitely one of my favorites so far. Gameplay is simple and fun and fits really well with the graphics, music and overall style of the game. Very creative way of implementing the theme too. Also the artstyle is hilarious :D

Hilarious idea! I wish there was a way to actually see the whole spread at once, I got to like a hundred meters all up before getting socked. The commentary lines are great too.

@call-me-nutty Thanks for playing and leaving a comment! I know exactly what you mean, it certainly does get samey after a while. @runner-alien suggested making it into a rhythm game which is a great idea and was certainly something I considered. Unfortunately I've never made a rhythm game before, due to my sheer lack of musical ability, but it's certainly something to look into because I think that it would make the game more fun.

@ghen Thanks for playing! A mensplaining game is certainly something to look out for in a future LD!

@alexkarate I understand your view. My though process was that manspreader's are always running out of space (due to manspreading to their total potential). You could also look at it from the humans perspective, they're running out of space due to this crazy man manspreading across the park. Another way of looking at it is that the screen is getting progressively more full of humans strolling along on their daily walks in the park, therefore the screen is running out of space.

@albin Thanks for playing! Really appreciate the comments.

@stephano Hey that's a pretty good score to be honest. It's arond the 7500 mark that the game gets a bit unrealistically difficult.

@mcccclean I know what you mean. I did want to do something like that but I couldn't think of a way of doing it that didn't look really ugly.

@kostbllb Haha, I try my best :P

Haha this game is good fun. At first, I died too fast and the screen spazzed out so I thought the game may be broken, but I tried again and had a blast. Simple, but to the point.

This game is REALLY good! It taps into the same type of addictive gameplay as One Finger Death Punch. The way you spawn people is quite clever, forcing the player to synchronize its tapping, or multitask with one side getting a constant barrage of enemy combatants and the other side gets only a few.

The graphics are simple and effective. The way the trees move, the screen flashes and the highscores pop up when you take down those evil parkgoers makes the game feel alive.

And yes, the theme. I think we can all identify with the protagonist in this game. If anything his spread is a bit below average tbh but who am I to judge?

Great job! Addictive game!

@donitz Thanks for the comment! I was actually thinking of One Finger Death Punch when considering how I would turn manspreading into a game so I'm pretty glad that you drew that comparison. Thanks for playing!

@fryderider Glad that it did! Thanks for playing!

This really made me laugh. Very simple game which by itself wouldn't be too interesting in my opinion. But together with the art style and the funny theme, it makes for a very nice game. And even though the game play isn't too interesting (neither is mine) it somehow is still enjoyable to play.

I think this is the only game I've tried so far that's actually funny. Well done for that.

Further, I really enjoyed how I had to manage the space in two different as well as opposite areas. My eyes struggled following both sides, especially when the difficulty increased. I was running out of space due to the space between my (eye)balls. Brilliant. Well done.

@thegunmaster Thanks for playing! I agree that the core gameplay is a bit lacking, I wanted to add a few more mechanics but I got a bit distracted during the jam.

@mike-inprinciple Haha, that's a take on the theme that I had not considered. Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

This is the best thing I have ever played. This fits into the theme too perfectly. I almost died laughing from the description alone! :)

Simple and fun, exactly what I hope for in a good jam game. Easy to pick up, a little bit of challenge, and plenty of personality. Nice work!

Who is hitting the guy in the balls? Is it someone who is armspreading?
