Monstropolis by the Sea by timconceivable

made by timconceivable for LD 43 (JAM)

Welcome to Monstropolis! We have fun in the sun, a thriving night-life, and, occasionally, colossal migratory mega-beasts from the abyssal depths!

The population has been evacuated to behind the massive, protective shield wall. Earn money from the bank to buy and upgrades expendable troops to throw at the advancing beasts to try to keep them at bay for as long as possible - if a monster breaches the walls, the city will be lost!

The game is really cool. At first i didn't really know what to do but there arent alot of buttons so figuring it out was easy. GJ!

Some images for the page would be great for people to play it.

Very addictive game. I spent more than 15 minutes to play it. But this has some balance issues: in the middle of the game monsters haven't chances and game became too easy. But I like it!

I reached 120 beasts at 17.40 :D I think it's endless I still don't know. Maybe it's a good idea to add information about that in the description. There are some balance issues obviously, the game doesn't get more difficult in time and it's really easy to max out. Otherwise it has a potential to be a really nice idle game. I'd consider making one out of this mega-beast concept. Do ittt! :)

very nice, I think I got to a good pace with all upgrades and being able to hold back the beasts. The first beast was probably the most tense as I built up my resources- perhaps having different types of beasts or so could be cool. Good job!

Very cool game, lots of good points. Music and art are great, and good take on the theme. It was a fun playthrough.
I hope you can add a tiny bit of balance after jam to force a progressive loss :)

Good job to both tims
