Spiritship by velvetlobster
This was supposed to be a sad and cute story about a family trying to make ends meet in a fast paced world ... unfortunately we just could not finish it, but here is a bit of the vibe we were trying to conceive...
The web version is even buggier than the desktop version and sometimes the music simply won't play, so we recommend trying the desktop one.

Of course, we would love to play the game we had planned to do...
Also thanks for doing a linux version. I'm currently on my Linux machine and may not have got round to playing it had there not been a linux version.
I don't know how big you guys envisioned the game, but it would be awesome to see you challenge yourselves to make 'chapter one' of the game or something like that. Not too much to chew, but enough so that we could see what the game could be. I'm definitely going to check by you guys next Ludum Dare to see what you make!
Pros :
- Incredible graphics and amazing audio make for the most successful melancholic atomsphere I encountered during the jam
- Strong concept, nice take on the theme
- The experience itself is funny, I legit roamed through the whole place to look for more messages
Cons :
- Bugs (at my first playthrough, my sprite got really small and was thrown into space)
- I want more !
All in all, great work, and I look forward to your future entries !
If this is something you plan to follow up, how can we follow this project? :grinning:
Good luck, Don't forget to take a look at ours if you don't mind and see what it's like when we just focused on graphics in this game jam!
