I'd kill for a gym membership by cptalbertwesker

[raw]
made by cptalbertwesker for LD 38 (COMPO)

It's that mythical gym membership, the gym membership that rights all problems, your life would be so much better with it! Trouble is there's so many 'gym boys' in your block of flats that your local gym does not have any allocated space for new members... perhaps if something happened to their current ones..

Built in game maker, all art produced in GIMP, audio recorded/edited with Audacity.

The game is played solely on a mouse.

Like the art! Funny setting, nice little puzzle game and voice acting.

Are full gyms even a thing?
Pretty funny, although I'm not sure if I played it correctly. I just set the things on fire at the bottom and then clicked on all the doors constantly. Is there something else to click?

Also - can you win? I got up to 56 stopped, but then I had only 16 when I called again for some reason, and then the game ended.

I like the idea though.

Interesting concept, but I didn't really feel like I was playing a game. I think I won? I'm not quite sure. It could have used an end scene. The way the game is titled, I was fully expecting to start murdering people, haha!

Woo, i stopped everyone from going to the gym.
I guess now i know how to stop people from hogging equipment at my gym ;)

I really liked the intro, pretty rare in jam games.
The idea is also something i have not seen before.
I think the game would have benefited from either tightening the gameplay part and throwing in maybe another cutscene to tell a more complete storyline or adding some more options to the gameplay part to experiment with.

You might want to add a small how to play to the description, no need to spoil anything but maybe let people know you have to stop people by 7 for example.

PS: I just got to the part where your cellphone says you've stopped everyone, if i've missed something please leave a comment including @IDidGame and I'll try to replay

The intro was really nicely done! However the game itslef would have needed som clearer goal or better feedback on the things you were doing.

I love it Charlotte, the little phone and the interactions. It was really interesting and totally opposite of anything I have played this Jam! Great job
