I have no idea why did I miss soo frequently. But it was very fun, I tried it few times and the best score I got was 7000+. But the best part was, me walking to the doors and seeing " There is no escape ",it made me laugh. It's a definite 5 star review for me !

having to press the movement keys over and over was a great choice. It really added a really frantic feel to the game. Full points for mood.

Seems like having a kid and doing ludum dare would be enough to drive one insane, but you managed to come up with this nice quirky entry. The rooms look like padded cells too, very subtle! if i had one criticism it would be the insanity coming a bit abruptly as they might be caused by tasks from other rooms that are not on-screen.

Well done! You absolutely nailed the mood with this one, the mood in question being 'hectic Sisyphean labor.' The art style is appealing and cohesive and the maddeningly upbeat soundtrack nicely complements the gameplay. I found myself scrambling around, mistapping, and completely losing track of the notification log. I suspect that there's a high skill cap here. Notably, my score improved massively between my first and second attempts - from 9485 to 15245. It's an overwhelming game, but it's one I suspect I could become quite comfortable with if I played for long enough. I'm not a parent myself, but it seems to me that the commentary here is deeper than you advertise.

Fun concept, it took me a little while to notice the task were all over the house chasing them and managing them not to hit zero was fun. Only thing i have to remark is that the music was a bit repetitive after while. But fun to play good job.

Awesome game. Got 14730 points in second try. Everything worked for this game. Funny story and gameplay. Nice sfx and music. Great visuals, really like the cutout artwork, fits the game well. Only thing i felt was missing, was to be able to run around holding A and D keys, instead of tapping them fast. Other than that this game is one of the best I've tried in LD39. Good job!

Very good looking game! The animations in the start menu were already letting me know that I was in for an animation treat. Sound effects are really good, the music got a bit annoying over time (or was that the idea in the first place?!?). It took me two tries to figure out what to do exactly, but when I got the gist of it I ran around the house like a madman. The couple of jokes sprinkled over it sealed the deal.

Very good entry!

PS: I don't want children in the near future anymore after playing this game ;)

Cute graphics and sounds. I liked how what you were holding changed based on the task at hand. I also appreciated the humor and realism. :D Apparently my family thinks I'm a bum because my bed is messy.

Great concept and twist on the theme.

Fun, funny, creative, you hit the moon with this one. Excellent game, perfect for a game jam. Congratulations!

PS: You probably already know it, but leaderboards are not working on the HTML5 version (Chrome). Maybe your PHP script has to allow cross domain requests, I'm not sure.

Brilliant!

The concept is funny and catchy. Graphics and animations are really gorgeous! The music and sounds are cool.

I didn't like the way you move through the house. And I still find the way the bar scale a little weird.

A great entry! You have my respect

Very original and realistic indeed. I found myself going forth and back to a task (LD XD) undecided on what to do.

On one hand, I think the messages were a little hard to follow. On the other hand, this agrees with the idea of the game. But I think the messages would be better placed somewhere else on the screen.

Nice job

This is a solid compo entry and the idea is crazy, interesting, and unique...but I found the controls hard to master and ended up not being able to do much. Having said that, I am still impressed at the level of work and detailed put into this entry. Nice work

Neat game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 39 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jtt-Piir6X0

Really nice game! Movement was a little weird, and the overlapping prompts when two tasks were next to each other could get more than a bit confusing. Still, found the start to be pretty darn easy... until suddenly all the bars started falling at insane speeds out of nowhere. I enjoyed the game quite a lot, otherwise; good job!
