WrongWay is a twitch-heavy action game crafted for the hardcore gamers. You are racing in an infinite tunnel, avoiding obstacles, trying to stay near to the purple energy rail so as to refill your energy bar. If you hit an obstacle - you explode. If you run out of power - you explode. Test your reflexes as you advance through the tunnel by maneuvering past deviously placed blocks designed to make you flip, slide and rotate sideways. Try to do a honorable score and your name will be written forever on the on-line leaderboard. Don't give up and try again. Have fun.

Use left&right to move your purple cube ++

A really intense yet a fun game to play. Really need to consider staying that purple line so I can stay in the game longer but I always die at the obstacles.
My last score was 415.

Simple but effective, the music was very good for creating a tense atmosphere. I also really enjoyed the leaderboard feature.

- Overall Nice game
- One thing actually annoys me is the color of player as it is completely pink and in unity engine if something i pink means error in shader
- It would be great if the transition of play is snapping to one unit left o right as player presses left or right . because in smooth transitions its actually really difficult to play

The game is awesome. Simple and functional.
As they said, the smooth transition makes an Unnecessarily difficult on gameplay.

Wow, really fun game. Music really helped me stay in the mood.

I played mostly with a controller, but I had to use the keyboard to restart.
You really should have put a quick restart in, would have really helped with the longer play session.
Felt like collision was a bit off, would hit things I couldn't see at times (or felt like it).
Switching walls could have been a bit smoother got me killed a fair amount.
Also RNG felt a little too (maybe even impossible) unfair at times.
Movement felt a little too in precise at times.

Notes aside, I really really wanted to keep playing to beat your score, however I'm having to stop myself cause I want to play other LD games, great work.

This game looks like a lot of fun! Would you consider doing a WebGL build or Mac by chance?

Sweet! Really like the "stay on the line" mechanic! Music makes for a great intense feeling too. Good job!

The simple visuals are nice, I like how the texture and fog gave depth to the scene even with the lack of lighting. Unfortunately the near texture-less player cube felt a bit of annoying but this didn't hurt the experience that much. May be using a multi-color low-poly model for the player can help. Anyway, I am biased since I hate Magenta. The music was really good and the gameplay was fun and addictively challenging.

Awesome!

Visuals are great and I love music theme. Game is really hardcore, but I wasn't angry because of loss.
Nice to have more obstacles and death counter :D.

Polished Visuals and an interesting take on the runner mechanic! :)

Likes:
- I like the "power rail" mechanic
- this is a pretty good looking "geometry runner", with the tunnel feeling really good
- good use of lights, fog, postprocessing
- has a leaderboard, for what it's worth, this is a great touch
- music remotely reminds me of Tempest :)

Try differently:
- it's a bit hard to play on ultrawide screens, but I also truly suck at these runners :)
- don't look up my leaderboard score
- please don't ask how many attempts that took :( I think this is my new Flappy Bird...

Overall:
- I quite like this entry, and had fun failing to reach a reasonable score.

Very intense endless runner action. The music was really awesome! five stars there.
Movement feels a bit slippery though not sure if that was intended, ie the player moves even after i release the key, not allowing for the fine precision in control and requiring me to compensate at times (often resulting in death). The hazards feel a little unbalanced too, with the spinning ones being particularly fiendish (especially the fast spinning ones). Nice fisheye camera effect.
Its really cool that you implemented a leaderboard as well. Great job!

Nice! Great take on the theme with the power line. It looked good, it played well and had a leaderboard! Really polished too. Awesome work on this one. The diagonal that rotates is a bastard though. That's what always killed me.

This was a really fun game and everything in the game combined made it into a really cool experience which reminds me in some ways of Smash Hit. I think the movement was well implemented but some obstacles were really hard to avoid unless you kept really close to the sides. Not really a bad thing but something that could be balanced a bit maybe.

I didn't realize at first I had to stay on the pink line to not lose power because I didn't see the bar at the top but that was certainly a nice factor to add in to make the game even harder! Really cool.

Very nice to have a leaderboard too, it made me want to play the game more and I got 11th I think. A really cool touch would be to have some kind of label on the ground which would correspond to the highscore of other players so you can see when you pass other players and you can see how far you got last time too. Even having a text saying how far it is left to the next highscore would be cool. Still having a leaderboard at all is really nice and often makes the games so much more fun to play.

Great job and I hope to see you in the next Ludum Dare :D

Great entry, fun and easy to understand. The difficulty is a bit too high for me. It remind me of Super Hexagon, and it may be great to increase obstacle difficulty with your score. So you would have a relatively easy time for a bit, and only later would hard obstacle appear (like the moving green, or moving black ones). Then the speed could increase too. Also as I die so early, I didn't really feel the need to follow the purple line, I would die before running out of juice. Another cool thing would be to have the line change face sometimes, to mess with your senses even more. Anyway, good job, and having a leaderboard is awesome.

Wow really nice! Super simple looks but they match the game, that ends up looking futuristic. Really loved the pace, although I'm not too good at it. But too slow would kill the mood. I suppose you generate the level procedurally, which is really cool. Just thought that the player being a cuve was a tad simplistic, but can't really put my finger in what could be a good model. The play with the theme was also great. All in all, really fun!

I have no reflex, I barely passed 300 points (317 precisely), but it's a good avoiding runner game, and the stressing music is part of the challenge. Well done!

Awesome stuff! I think it would be even better, if there was no inertia and the cube would stop as soon as I stop holding the button.

Cool game, pretty efficient overall, i particularly liked the music and having the leaderboard is great ! It's a bit too difficult for me though, i feel like sometime it's too much based on luck and if i get hard elements right on it's kinda punishing. The world being a rectangle and not a circle is a nice take on the genre also it's sometimes make it harder to predict where I will end up. And maybe adding some particle effect to the violet line would make for an easier explanation of it's purpose.

Overall nice game, good job :)

Looks familiar :) Solid gameplay though. Controls felt a bit sluggish to me though, I wish they were a bit more responsive (especially the deceleration). Wish the death animation was a bit shorter too. Still pretty fun, nice work!
