The sound effects are clearly the best part of the game. Okay, maybe second best after the highlight mechanic.
One thing, though. "Blind-friendly" I can accept, but "visual game" is not a genre.

Another feature that could be cool would be a sort of sonar ability, where a sound wave reveals the whole room very briefly. It could be just a one or two time use item that prevents your from just spamming it, but would be helpful in later levels that become more complex.
Amazing work!
Also kudos for the first scene where you hover to read out the text. Very clever way of introducing the mechanic.
Edit: Oh also, an interesting thing to pursue for this would be a blind-accessible version (not sure if it already is)!
I would love to make something that is _actually_ blind-accessible, but I lack the knowledge about the topic -- I have no idea how accessibility works, how/if blind people's lifestyle differ that one should apply in game design, what screen readers/other equipment they use and thus what the interface to the game should be, etc. It seems like quite a complicated topic.
I beat all 8 levels.
Good decision to scope low on features and polish them! I enjoyed playing every second of it!
It reminds me of a bit of navigating the later levels in the obscure but awsome Kula World / Rollaway for the original playstation, where blocks would fade in and out of being visible.
