Controls
They are listed ingame too, don't worry.
Left,Right - movement
Z - jump
X - shoot
Up,Down - aim
C - move gems
M - mute music
Esc - restart level
The controls work nicely on non-QWERTY keyboards too, (e.g. W will be used instead of Z on AZERTY layouts, but it may be named incorrectly in the game itself)
Changelog
- Tweaked some broken levels.
- Added missing OpenAL32.dll
- Added 'mute music' button

Nicely done! It just needs some atmospheric music!
Not much negative to say about this one at all but there were some minor issues. Just having music for a compo game is always a plus in my book, but it was quite simple and repetitive and got a little annoying after a while. It would probably be a good idea to add an option to turn it off. The game is also quite difficult. I couldn’t get past the turret level which is a shame as it seems like there were a lot of different levels past that one.
This was a very good game and I will give it another go at it later!
And actually I admit that the music didn't turn out too good this time.
(And add a support for my gamepad ;) )
The theme is well respected, that mix is most unusual :)
Original entry.
V-Sync! Not sure if there's a way to toggle this in whatever engine you're using but it was really disorienting at first - lots of shearing when I moved around.
Gameplay-wise my only complaint is that it's unclear whether gems are solid or not - you can stand on them when they're still, they pass through you when they're not, and if they land where you are, you die! That took me by surprise.
But, but... the Vsync is enabled by default. Maybe you've disabled it in your driver settings or something? The engine could turn it off automatically only if your PC can't handle 60 FPS, but that's unlikely. This game doesn't use a lot of resources.
