Personally I didn't really get the pop culture refs, I kind of saw it as an attempt for the character to prove he's been living life and knows about things but kind of just comes off as presumptuous (and drunk). The situation is presented in a way that makes the player decide if what the character is doing is a good thing, but I wonder if there should be something else (like this is good, do you think so? or this is bad, do you think so? I'm not sure about that though either). After a few minutes of playing, I respected the game enough to at least get a mineral water from the fridge. Sipped that instead, and I don't like it either, but the experience was well worth it.\n\nI've played a lot of games on this jam, and this is one of my top favorites so far. Awesome pixel art, funny references, a melancholic tune, and simple-yet-effective mechanics. The game as its own was not outstanding _until_ the later part, in which it became just amazing.\n\nThe drunk state simulation is among the best I've seen, which is usually just a blurry screen. I like how the thing starts to gradually go more and more bizarre, even to the point where getting to the final bar became a real challenge. In other games, changing the controllers is an annoying experience, but here, it was actually so fitting that it felt just great.\n\nThis was an incredible jam experience.
