Full Shelter by SimonBeats
Full Shelter is all about feeding animals in an animal shelter. If they are happy for a long enough time, someone adopts them. If they starve too long they die. The more animals you got, the harder the game becomes, and the worse it gets.
The game was created in round about 14 hours by me, and it is my first time competing at a jam.

My game "Full shelter" now almost finished
I like the way you implemented the hunger and thirst meters.
My biggest complaint comes down to realism; cats typically feed and water themselves from sources you provide, rather than being handfed and hand watered. I'd suggest you switch it around and have the player try to keep bowls full instead of cats full. That's just my idea though.
All in all I think you did a decent job for a compo game and I gave you an okay rating.
Showing an indicator when a cat is getting thirsty is a nice UI touch that helped me know where i should put my resources. Also, quite an awesome use of the theme! Good work :)
I guess this would classify as a clicker game of sorts? I quite liked it though, despite the prospect of a house full of dead cats..
(I mean: I can see that the amount of food goes down, but even that refuses to subtract if the red bar is full-up.)
Not entirely sure, but I think this _might_ be the first time I've seen anyone added difficulty-levels to their Compo-entry. Nice! (Although it's understandable not a lot of people do this...)
First jam and also finished within only slightly more than a quarter of the time = Impressive!
Would you return me a favour and my game? :)
