This game isn't that great at all if I'm being completely honest. I tried to do to much in to little of time but in the I think I have a good base to make a much cooler game and a horrible start at Ludum Dare but we will see how future events play out.

Controls are pretty basic: W/D or LeftArrow/RightArrow to move, Space to jump, and Enter to interact.

I feel that at the very least I learned some things and will (hopefully) do better in my next Ludum Dare.

*Also bonus points for whoever can find the "Coming... Soon?" sign in the game. It's there... it just might be hard to find.

Would have loved to have tried but after having downloaded the file it was for windows only, let me know if there's a place I can get a mac executable.

You've put a lot of effort into dialogues, nice!

There are 2 major bugs that I saw:
* pressing space not only makes you jump, but also does interaction, so when you jump next to grandpa you start talking to him
* when leaving the store my character just started moving left and I couldn't stop him

Other than that, I like the artwork , animations and scrolling text. Very solid first time entry. Great job!

Hi! First of all - good job on finishing your first entry!
I really like pixel art graphics you got there and the animations for walking. There is some bugs in the game, it happened to me twice that after the waterfall there was no more ground so to try it out I jumped and fell... into black abyss. The music kept playing and the screen went dark.
I really liked the small missions you had me complete, the dialogues were good but I wish you could skip them quicker if interacted accidentally. I love the fun fact about birds, is this some sort of easter egg? :)
