This was awesome! I'm a sucker for this kind of game generally, but I loved the concept and the story even if you didn't get time to deliver everything you wanted to.

I think I accidentally managed to cheat by giving myself the ticket, wasn't sure if I started with it at first but then when I was checking out the source code it seems there is a (possibly left over debug?) command to just add it to the inventory with the O button.

You're also a much cleaner and more sensible coder than I am, I tie my code in knots for game jams but this all seems pretty solid throughout which is a feat in and of itself. I hope because of that you plan on adding more to this, it's great!

@ShaunJS Thank you! You're absolutely correct about the ticket button being a debug command, we were so rushed to finish I forgot about it entirely!

FANTASTIC! I had a lot of fun and love this kind of graphics style. Each contained biome put me in the mood of that area, and the writing was pretty funny. Thanks for the fun =]

The graphics, the characters, setting ~~people~~ er... stuff on fire! The skeletons... It's is very reminiscent of Undertale.

I was already smiling a few seconds after running the game. It was fun just reading what **wasn't** in the game. Did you guys make all the art?

Would love to play a complete version of it. I confess I didn't solved every puzzle and I'm not sure if there was more stuff to do. Is it possible to get the beholder a drink? I'm bad at it and tend to get lost easily while navigating the world.

Feel free to continue this genre, there should be more (good) dialogue based games. For some reason, the whole first person four directional RPG thing works well with jokes you write, I really had some clean fun playing this. Loved waiter's reaction after setting wizard on him.

This is brilliant! The environments are beautiful yet minimalistic, and the cast is quite colorful. Though the thing that is most impressive is the number ways to handle each scenario and the sheer amount of dialogue possibilities there are. On my first run, I went through without hurting or threatening anyone and helped all of the NPCs. After that though, I did several runs where I just experimented, and I was amazed at the amount of ways to get through the game. One of my favorite moments was lighting the snake on fire after she said she was cold, and I loved that there was specific dialogue in response to that event. Details like this and the overall care put into the world and narrative really make this game stand out. I would love to see an expanded version of this!

This game is so good. Really well presented making it fun even to just walk around the world. Would definitely like to see more games in this style. Also accidentally set the world on fire. Woops.

The different sound for each character talking is great. Its amazing how much Big Snake sounded like Solid Snake while not being a voice. I love the graphics for this one as well. Great job!

CONS:

It's a bit short and there aren't a lot of clues for the "puzzle"

PROS:

Movement felt satisfying and trying stuff out (like lighting the wood on fire) felt good when it worked.
Conversations were also written pretty nice.
Artstyle is also nice

Love this game, cute and funny story with freedom of choice. Many dialogs are really funny, love talking sounds. Game is quite short, but it gives me opportunity to try different things with fireballs. And nice ending, btw :D
