Pretty fun game! Loved how you added the speedrun mode. My only issue with it was that it was way too loud and some audio overpowered others.

Interesting puzzle game but why TF is there a guy in the background on one of the levels!?

@m8rix Ah thats just a pal. I like to give him a cameo sometimes. Well done on noticing, I thought the opacity was too low.

Fun and tricky game! I really like the challenge of it. I also like the cleanness and simplicity vibe but it still comes off as complex. for some reason windows was nonstop telling me that it was a virus before i opened it tho. :/

@joshcanprogram Seems to be an issue with a lot of downloadable games in Ludum dare, especially GMStudio ones like this. Annoying and really hampers downloadable games over web streaming ones. Thank you for playing!

Pretty fun overall! I just wish the there were a delayed auto repeat for movement, because it gets tiring constantly spamming the keys.

Simple but effective, was a very enjoyable puzzle game. Music was a bit loud, but it went well with the game.

Hey, our games share the same mechanic, so that's fun. :D

Had a good time playing through your game, the graphics and soundtrack while being simplistic still felt really coherent - and the puzzle design was neat and smart without being difficult. (I'm a fan of ld-games, which I can actually finish!)

Jeez I suck at this. I couldn't make it past the 5th level! Good game, though.

Easy mechanics but still pretty complex after then add levels. I love the speedrun option and especially the 'simple and clean' look of the game. It just feels right. Chapeau!

Pretty fun game! Nice to see a game (unlike mine) that is rather simple and easy to learn and get through while still leaving a bit of a challenge.

A lot of puzzle games I play in Ludum Dare have the mechanics in place for great puzzles but sometimes don't follow through with actual puzzles in the level design. Not the case here. Mechanically everything works great, but the biggest plus to me was that you made even the tutorial levels interesting and puzzling. Nicely done!

Good puzzle game. I got stuck on a later level with teleport and 2 "bridges"
Sometime is kind of hard to tell the player from the stones

Very cool. Very simple idea yet challenging enough. I love the fact that it is very intuitive. Also nice to see another puzzle type game! The sounds get a little grating/harsh at times. I think its more the volume than anything.

This was a very fun puzzle game, I really enjoyed the gradual introduction of new mechanics. Managed to complete all the levels, the hardest for me was the one where almost the whole field is filled with red squares.

Really enjoyed this game, simple graphical design, good levels, some quite challenging levels and really quite fun overall. Not as much a fan of the music, but that's not really the focus, and the sound design is otherwise good. I could really see something like this being developed into a full game, especially a phone or browser-friendly version.

I thought it was fun and had just the right level of challenge. I also enjoyed the sounds. Overall great game. Maybe having more of a theme, not the theme, but theme in general would be interesting, but as a puzzle game it was very good. https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/42/the-city-of-forgotten-toys, link to the game so you can play it on your stream as you requested.

Nice design, simple yet functional.

The idea fits the theme, and the technical part is solid (no game breaking bugs or major issues)

This really deserves a mobile version!

Thanks for your work, and have a nice stream

Nice simple game, I like design of some levels when it kind of fools you into thinking you have to do something where in fact you don't have to. Only thing I am missing is level number. Good effort

Pretty interesting puzzle concept! Also digging the vibe of the sounds. Would be interesting to see an expanded form of this game with more types of items.

Also please do stream my game if you get a chance! :D

What a great little puzzle game. My only real complaint would be that having the things you are collecting be almost indistinguishable from the thing you are moving made it really confusing on several of the levels. I'm not sure if this was intentional or not but it felt like an artificial way to make the game more of a challenge when it was already well balanced without it. I'd like to have something like this on mobile as it feels like it would fit the platform really well and would be something I'd enjoy being able to jump in and out of playing. I'll be keeping this around to play again. Well done.

This was actually a pretty fun game with interesting puzzles. The best part was finally figuring out what order I had to collect stuff in. Great job.

This looks like a very interesting puzzle game, it doesn't run on Linux though so I can't test it properly, I'll make sure to leave a rating if I get access to a Windows machine.

I looked at the gameplay footage and this is a really fun game mechanic, the levels are designed well and introduces new concepts in a simple and understandable way.

I like the pink walls that contract which creates a level of stress, maybe adding some other moving obstacles on the map would be interesting to create a more challenging game.

Very well done! This is a beautiful little puzzler, managed to finish the game in just a nice amount of time. The levels were very well designed in my opinion, to the point were I certainly needed to think my way through, but never felt frustrated because it seemed undoable.
Really good job. One of my favs so far!

Nice game! :) Great concept for the theme and the execution is well made.

The graphics are simple but really nice, the music is great too (even if a bit too loud imo) and the sounds fit well. That's the kind of game I can spend some time on.

The gameplay is correct, I didn't have any problem and it's really intuitive.

Great job! o/

An excellent puzzle games! I was stuck a couple of times, and the solution was logical but not always evident, which to me is sign of a great puzzle game. The graphics were also simple but functional and aesthetically pleasing. Personally I'm a sucker for these minimalistic puzzle games, and I think you made one with the theme that was spot on. Great job!

Amazing game! I loved how intuitive it is, would love to see more levels exploring even more the mechanics. Some minor feedbacks: in the beginning I had some trouble figuring out where my character was (it is pretty similar to the red squares) and where the ending of the level would be (my screen brightness is pretty bad), so if you could make some minor changes to colors and/or geometry, it would be even better!

Congrats!

Nice little puzzle game, I liked it!

I don't think speedrun really makes sense in puzzle games like this.

Nice level design, I enjoyed solving some of the puzzles!

I found the sound effects to be a bit annoying and distracting.
