This is my first Ludum Dare. I hope you enjoy it!

All was done by me. The Sounds were recorded by my microphone. The Graphics were made by Photoshop CS6. The Music was created by BoscaCeoil. Programming was made on c#.

It's a simple game. You can move [Left/Right] You can jump [Up] You can Reload the Level [R]

If you don't jump and you fall off, you can jump on the middle of the fall! [This is very important thing!]

Only tested for Windows, sorry :(

Great elegant puzzle-platformer. The darkness surrounding your character when you pick up coins is a really effective way to challenge the player and enforce the theme. I initally thought the game would rely too much on memorising the map to make it through and that it would become too frustrating, but when I noticed the minimap, I had just enough information to navigate through the darkness and the darkness makes for some really satisfying leaps of faith. My only lament is that you opted out of the mood category because the visuals, music and the darkness theme coupled together in a most wonderful fashion, and I was more than prepared to give it a good rating.

Controls are a bit clunky (the player moves a little too fast, or maybe there should be some acceleration, the gravity is a little too strong), but otherwise this game is wonderful. It has a good amount of content and the way the theme is used is original and makes the game feel fresh and interesting. Great job!

Your first LD? You're kidding. THis is the best game I've played so far in this jam! Again testifying to the fact that great games don't need the best graphics. Controls are smooth to me, I had no trouble. You executed the theme super well, and with a great difficulty and learning curve. I can see this expanded into a full title in the future. 4.5/5

@banan Now you can vote on mood category. That was a fault of me. I thought that check on the categories was for allow to vote but is the opposite.

I love this puzzle/platform game. It is simple and the graphics is good. The music loop is a bit short, but that it is okay. Overall a well made LD game. And welcome to LD.

I loved the concept, I felt like maybe the darkness once you've collected all the coins was a bit restrictive, as I couldn't get past the 3rd level :) The mini map was definitely essential haha. Great job

I loved this game. Such a nice concept and those enemies are some nasty little buggers! Even being simple, I felt terrified when I couldn't see a damn thing, especially when those little cubes popped up! Great job, mate, amazing first entry!

Nice controls, really smooth, nice music & graphics too (all the pixels are really cute!). The level designs are simple but they work perfectly. A nice difficulty curve and mechanics that work really well together (I was really stuck until I read the jump-when-falling trick)

A good platform, with an accurate representation of the theme. Congratulation, you have made a great job

The game is tough but very satisfying when you get to finish a stage. I got stuck after the 3rd level cause some jumps are a bit too far. Nice idea for a game!

Very good take on the theme! As you get more blocks, the harder it is to see around. Simple and clean. My only complaint is that it can get almost impossible to make it back sometimes. Mainly in the levels with enemies. Maybe make the field of vision a little bigger after you take all the blocks?
Overall a very good and polished game. Congratulations!

Very nice. I can imagine that this concept can turn into frustrating experience very easily. But you managed to balance it very well. Good job and fun game to play.

Really like the theme implementation! The game is fun and challenging!
- In some levels the enemies spwan really close to where you spawn so there is almost no time to avoid it.
- You really dont know you have been damaged unless you look at the hearts (i was playing without sound so i dont know if there is a sound cue for when you are damaged). Something like turning red after being hit for example.

I really like the concepts of memorizing the level before starting to collect the objects so you know how to come back.Awesome game overall, good job!

Good game, i had issues getting past level 1 after collecting all the dark lights but that might be me being air headed.

Keep it up the game was very impressive.

Works on Linux! \o/ Very fun game, the theme is executed pretty well. The idea of reducing the field of view really makes it get worse, and that's exactly what we need here! I could only get to Level 04, how many levels are there? Some jumps are pretty much frustrating, but that's normal for a platformer. :D Some tactics are beneficial: it is wise to avoid the easy-to-get coins to get the harder ones with a greater field of view.

The art style reminds me of PRIOR which was a big success at Ludum Dare 19 – did it serve as an inspiration for you? It did for me... that game brought Ludum Dare to my attention and I made my first entry at LD26. :) Oh, nostalgia... So congratulations for your first entry, welcome to Ludum Dare! ;)

The game fits the theme verry well, it is one of my favorite ones so far.
