You don't reset the score when you restart! I can't not get a high score :)

I really liked it though, the whole aesthetic is awesome and the sound is great.

Lovely idea. The art style, animation, and sound are all great and really worth with your theme. It seemed a little random when it would decide to give me a negative mark, but I get the idea.

Also you might want to expand the web view on your itch page as some bits are cut off. (Probably need to turn on the setting for auto sizing it?)

Great work! Glad you enjoyed your first Jam. Hope to see you again for more!

This was pretty neat, I had trouble writing cause I kept trying to read all the questions. There is a problem with the score keeping as the other person mentioned. Also the "oh my god" sound was great.

A very well made game. The gameplay felt smooth and solid, and the art, animations and sound just really gave me a great time.

A high score of 69!

This was super fun, would have been nice if you'd explained about the red Xes in game but otherwise it was great. Loved the art and audio, and really enjoyed the concept!

This was definitely a goofy one, but I enjoyed it. I like the little touches like the broken arm and the watch actually showing the exam time. Took me a moment to realize why I was getting Xs but I figured it out in the end :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Oh My God! This was amazing! I really liked all those little touches, like the clock actually working, or the different tests that were thrown at you, or how after your time is up you can still work for a little bit just like in real life. The music was also superb but a bit calm for test conditions amirite :D I also had a similar subtheme of school and I found that amusing

This was a fun game. My highest score was 52. I like that playing gives you a sore hand, just like taking an exam :)

There is not a lot of longevity in the gameplay but that's not unusual for an LD game. It was a cool use of the theme with good presentation (not the most beautiful graphics but very fit for purpose). Good instructions too, which helps. Good effort for your first entry!

Hello! I really like concept and style, but i get some troubles with mechanics. When i play mistakes drammatically reduce my score to zero. I couldn't understand can rubber erase it or not. If rubber works how to use it? Same thing about sharpener.
Also i have found a bug: best strategy is hold right button and just wait until exam will end.

A nice small game and interpretation of the theme :) It has solid and good looking simple graphics, music is nice and fits really well, same thing for sfx. I think I broke the game at some point and had no malus points XD As a sugestion I thought difficulty could be increased just by adding zones to avoid(like you must avoid to write on questions or graphs), and controls could be both on mouse and keyboard so it may be a bit easier, as left btn+right btn+mousewheel is really hard at the same time XD.
Some exams questions were quite fun :) Really good job and espescially impressive for a first LD :) congrats !
Cheers

Even though I couldt understand how the scoring worked, I loved the game! Would love to have an endless mode where I keep filling a lot of papers, or a 1 hour test =)

Great idea! Execution seemed polished. It was difficult to get a high score. One issue I had was that since it was not full-screen, whenever I accidentally clicked outside the game window, my controls would (predictably) mess up.

Really original. I don't really know what else should I say, because I haven't seen anything like that :) Really nice work and idea around this theme.

Really unique and original game about something we all know and hate.
The mechanic was great fun!

A most unique and fun entry! The aesthetics are perfect and it's a blast just to scribble around rotating the paper from time to time. You even justified the fact that the writing can't move with a broken arm, that's some cool narrative design :D

Nice idea, loved the audio!
Great take on the theme, I wouldn't have thought about it!
Unfortunately, it's hard to play it with a laptop trackpad 😅
Maybe make a key write as well?

One of my favourites so far - had loads of fun playing this! Been a while since I had to sit an exam but this is pretty much how I remember it... Great art, music, controls, all build up just the right atmosphere and it's genuinely fun to play. Some very funny questions too. :)

Really unique take on the theme! I like how there's multiple exam layouts if you play multiple times. I only managed to get a 31... what can I say, I was never the best at exams!

What's the maximum score I can get?
