Hey all, this is my game for LD43.

[Description]

Cargo Crunch is about managing a cargo ship and its crew members in order to keep the ship flying and stay alive in a dangerous pirate filled space.

To keep your ship flying and free of holes you must sacrifice some of your crew members by using them to plug holes in the ship.

The ingame help menu does a good job of explaining the game to I suggest you check that out.

The game can be played with only a mouse.

[Post-LD Thoughts]

All in all im happy that I got a game fully finished and submitted, but the game itself I'm not too happy with. I liked the idea in the beginning but as things went on I realized that I didn't have much enjoyable gameplay, maybe people will find it fun but I personally don't like my execution of the idea.

Really nice explaination on how the game works. I started knowing exactly what I needed to do. Maybe just needed some more crew members. I found once I plugged up a wall or 2 I had none left. Really liked the start screen transitions. Nice work :slight_smile:

I like the idea a lot, but it felt really unresponsive... select a crew member, select Scientist, nothing happens half the time. Sometimes I click Scientist and it says "select a crewmember to plug the hole with", presumably it clicked through to the hole behind. Got frustrated and had to stop :(

Nice use of sacrificing crewmembers! Graphics were simple but effective.
