Some online articles say that the song is not copyrighted but some say it is.
It's confusing... Let's say it was just inspired by it.

The sprites look a little too similar, combined with the rotation world, it can be hard to find the correct one to connect. If you plan to extend develop it further, I suggest putting some different kinds of creatures, like cow, dog or even alien.
Graphics and sfx are cute and it's quite impressive that all of this fits in very small executable.
At first I thought it was too easy but the last level begins to be tricky. In order to enhance the gameplay, it might be cool to add new kinds of connections. Eg. connections that can cross each other for a small amount of time or even extra-planetary connections with satellites...
Really good job.
Ladies and gentlemen! We give you the internet, a series of tubes which will connect every human on the planet!
*HUZZAH!* **Everyone joins up**
**The next day**
No sir, I cannot dial you up just now, there's a blocking connection right over there you see. Could you move right next to your friend please, then we are in business... What do you mean you don't need our services anymore? Talked to them face to face, *you did what now!*
**Later that day**
Gents... We need to rethink our strategy, technology and lives.
**Humanity reverts back to the stone age**
...
A nice puzzle. Easy but pleasant. Fine work!

Archlinux, up to date. The same happen with 32 and 64 build (on an x86_64 computer)
(BTW, Ubuntu GNU/Linux 17.04, the 64 bit one ran fine here.)
It wasn't particularly difficult, and I don't have any suggestions on how to make it more challenging. As @michaelb suggests, with a little tweaking it would be a good game for kids. (I game mine to a nephew and he really enjoyed it, he's 11. So...)
